Blood Contract

The young girl stepped into this cave. The sunlight seemed to cover her pale golden hair with a layer of sequins, brightening up each light in the dark, damp cave.

This person was like a living thing, a single existence in a cave without any human breath. She seemed to carry the light on her body, making the darkness fade little by little.

Oralie entered the cave, she looked left and right, and her eyes stopped at the red flower crawling on the edge of the cave. The flower exudes a gentle, sweet fragrance that lingers at the tip of the nose. The flower stalks are light brown and hairy, and the yellow-green leaves are asymmetrical with smooth edges.

Soft petals spread out, dotted with black dots, which stand out against the white pistils. On the bright red petals, there were still a few drops of dew that didn't know where they came from. The glittering dewdrops on the bright red petals attract people's eyes, make people fall in love, and they can't help but touch and cut off this flower.

Oralie stepped closer step by step. The closer she got, the more seductive the scent became. Like a beautiful woman waving right in front of her eyes. She reached out her hand, wanting to pluck the flower. But then she retracted her hand, pulled out a Pepid Rainbow leather glove from her pocket, and put it on her white hand.

Then, she carefully reached out, plucked this beautiful flower, and put it in the side pocket. It's not that she's suddenly so careful, because she knows well, that this is a Biennial flower.

Although this flower has a very fragrant smell and a beautiful appearance, the resin causes a very serious allergy. It can cause people directly in contact with flower resin to suffer pain like a burning fire. Then it started to grow tiny blisters all over the body.

In the next stage, the active substances released by the human immune system again dilate large arteries, causing hypotension, bronchospasm causing difficulty breathing, stomach and duodenal spasms causing abdominal pain, and cerebral artery constriction causing headache, dizziness, and coma. If the situation gets worse, the person will die.

Then suddenly, after picking the Biennial flower, Oralie's gaze was locked on a coffin lying in the corner. The coffin lay dormant there. Moss had grown to a full covering, covering the original beauty of the splendor.

The wood is probably rotted away because it has been left for too long. Even if this is the best wood, it can not avoid the cruel hand of time. Oralie carefully approached, and around the coffin suddenly appeared pure white letters. They leaped from the ground, stabbing toward her as if they were sharp darts themselves.

Oralie nimbly dodged the escape. She reached out her hand, quickly drawing a hand seal, creating a barrier of holy light surrounding her body. The fence seemed to be gathered from light, shining brighter than the sun outside, making the pure white letters afraid to step back. Then it had to melt before the supremely powerful holy light of her.

Seeing that the letters were gone, Oralie withdrew her hand. Her eyes narrowed, and she carefully looked around to see if it was safe. Or the immediate calm is just the lake before the storm.

Oralie took two more steps, coming to the front of the coffin. The face of the coffin is etched with arrays of formations, seemingly from a long time ago, the lines have faded, and the power has also faded as the months of the year come rushing in.

Oralie tried to break the formation above not only out of curiosity but because in her heart, there was a sense of good anticipation.

Her heart was pounding, and it was hot again, like an erupting volcano. This was her usual feeling when something good was about to happen. When the goal is about to be achieved.

She felt that whatever was in this old coffin, whatever it was, would help her fulfill her heart's wish.

The old magic formation was quickly broken at the hands of the human girl.

Each handwritten note disintegrated, crumbled, and sank into darkness. Oralie raised her hand to lift the lid of the coffin, and inside was a very beautiful young woman, seemingly only in her twenties. This girl lay in the coffin, her eyes half-closed. Long eyelashes gently fall, like two wings of a moth, so beautiful that it makes people stop breathing.

The woman's skin was white, pale to the point of being transparent, weak, and fragile as a piece of crystal. Her lips were as red as blood and as bright as the Biennial petals that had just been cut off. The red color stood out on her porcelain white skin, beautiful and then exuding a kind of extreme cold, making the hairs on the back of other people's necks shiver involuntarily, hands and feet cold. Long hair is scattered all over the coffin, each strand is jet-black, soft as silk, flowing smoothly under the body.

Oralie looked at the girl lying in the coffin, her brows furrowed slightly, her eyes showing a thoughtful expression.

Because the coffin had been lying here for so long that it was covered with moss. However, lying inside was not a dry skeleton with white bones, nor a corpse rotting to the bone, but a young girl. A young girl who may be still in her youth but is infected with the ultimate grief of May.

Obviously, the one lying here was a vampire, a blood-sucking demon that was at least a few hundred years old.

  …

Selina was sleeping soundly, deep in a sleep that had lasted for more than half a millennium. Suddenly, there was a scent coming, bringing with it a light scent. Like soft butter, like sweet human blood, so seductive and alluring that it made her whole body feel like it was on fire. The cold blood in his veins also seemed to want to boil, spilling out like volcanic lava. That scent hangs around at the tip of the nose, sweet and soft, lingering.

Suddenly, that sweet scent turned into an indescribable pain. The pain was excruciating, as if she wanted to tear her soul into two halves. Selina was in so much pain that she wanted to scream. The eyelashes of the person lying in the coffin trembled slightly, as if wanting to wake a half-millennium of sleep.

A crackling sound rang out.

A drop of blood slowly fell, and landed on Selina's bright red lips, dyeing her already blood-red mouth. Oralie lowered her eyes and looked down. The bottom of her eyes seemed to have a flickering ghost dancing.

Selina could only feel a cool, sweet taste, dispelling the excruciating pain in her body. Her eyelashes have also stopped shaking, gently drooping like before.

Everything fell silent again.

Moments later, Selina's world of darkness suddenly lights up. The light was so bright that it hurt her eyes. It was pure light, like the sun reigning outside. It was that light source that forced the blood-sucking demon who had been sleeping for so long to wake up and leave her slumber for centuries.

When she opened her eyes, Selina found herself covered in layers of ancient characters, floating in the air, scarlet red, as if condensing blood. Selina glanced around, wanting to break these ancient characters, but no matter what, they were incredibly strong, unbreakable.

Selina glanced at the person in front of her, who dared to wake her from her deep slumber, and now, it seemed, there was another scheme.

Selina furrowed her brows angrily, snarling at the insolent being standing upright in front of her:

 - Human, what are you doing?!

The obnoxious person still didn't answer, just stared at the ancient characters. Her temples were sweating. She seems to be in a lot of pain.

This smell... She is a human!

I

t was a young girl with flowing hair the color of the sun, and clear blue eyes, like the sky in autumn, calm and peaceful.

Then suddenly, the thick ancient characters quickly retreated, burrowing into the wrists of the two people standing here, a human and a blood-sucking demon. Selina touched the mark on her wrist. The scarlet mark came to life, then the red disappeared, becoming a dreary black. Her pale skin highlights the image of a pair of tangerine swans.

Selina looked at the mark on her hand in horror, and in the vampire's silver-gray eyes, there was an indescribable surprise.

This is a... blood contract?

How could she? Why might that be?!

A blood contract is a contract made between humans and vampires, a bond of life and death. But humans only live for a few dozen years, only a hundred years at most. Only stupid, crazy vampires would sign this kind of contract with humans!

And of course, a blood contract can only be established when there is consensus and voluntary consent from both parties.

Why is this human ability to force a bloodsucker like her to enter into a contract?
