Love and Stubborness

"You cannot marry him,Nina" he held her arms to stop her from walking out on him.Unknown to them they were in Aiden's room.

"Get your hands off me,Blake.You heard my father clearly"

Blake couldn't accept it.The anger that surged through him was unexplainable.All his dreams were about to be crushed.

"That was just the old man's dieing wish.You don't have to do it."

"Blake,this is my life and my decision.I want revenge and this seems to be the only way." Nina said

"So what? You think you can take on the vampires alone? Don't forget you're a female Nina."

That did it.

She pointed her finger to his face "Don't ever underestimate me,Blake.Don't you also forget that my mother went to war along with you guys.How many of you survived?!"

"She died,Nina! She died at last and if you keep on being stubborn you'll end up killing yourself."

"I don't need you to care for me.You should go back home to your pack.They need you."

"I cannot leave you here.These people will kill You.Let's run away."

"For how long would we run? How many more lives would we lose? Axel is dead,a lot more will die if I don't stay here."

Aiden listened to their argument.

Blake held her arms and brought her close to him.He realized by now that arguing further with her would result to nothing.

"They're not worth your sacrifice." he spoke softly "Nina lets go home.Together we can save the kingdom"

"No" she stepped out of his grip "Home? I don't have a home anymore.Besides,I cannot work with a person who thinks so lowly of another human just because she's female."

Blake found himself at a loss for words.Nina walked away.He squeezed his hands into a fist.There was no damn way he'd let someone else have Nina.He walked out.

"Which of these dresses do you wish to wear for the wedding,my love?"

Nina found herself in Damon's chamber surrounded by beautiful but revealing dresses.

"Isn't..Isn't the wedding too soon?" Nina said with shaky voice.She felt very uncomfortable with the way his hands were all over her.

"Too soon??" he laughed "I think it's too late-the day after tomorrow."

"Alright,but-" she looked around,the room was too large for only a person "-don't you have a mate? I mean,a partner?"

His gaze pierced at her sharply.Before she knew it he was right there beside her as she felt a gush of wind.

"I do." he whispered in her ears "But a vampire can have as many wives as he wants"

"It is not the same for a werewolf." Nina returned back to him sharply "My mate cannot have another wife."

Damon stared at her quietly for a while then he suddenly flashed a smile at her.

"Watch your little mouth,Luna." his eyes turned red "I can rip your throat out any second.So go on...choose a dress."

Nina didn't like any of them.

"What?" he grabbed her waist,Nina flinched "You don't like any of them?"

She nodded.

"Kiyiya!" he called.

A white lady stepped in with hair as red as blood.The clothes she had on could pass for the ones Nina didnt like.Do they wear only revealing clothes here?

"Yes,my Lord?" she bowed down

Nina raised an eyebrow.If this potato-looking man was referred to as Lord then what do they call that green eyed man,what was his name again? Aiden.

Damon stared at her.His sharp look made her gasp.

"Did you just call me a potato?"

"W-what?" was her thought too loud or could vampires read minds too?

"I heard you say Potato."

"Ahh...yes..I'm hungry" she smiled,hoping to have convinced him

"Kiyiya,get her food and take her to the show room,let her pick a dress."

"Yes my Lord"

"Call me when you need me,wife." he said to her before leaving.

Nina followed Kiyiya behind.They crossed series of corners and passages and lastly one invisible wall.Nina wondered how they'd find their way back.

They came into a white room with rows and columns of dresses,mostly red and black.

"Select your choice" she ordered

Nina walked through the rows and columns.Nothing suited her interest until she arrived at the last row.She loved this one.The only revealed part was the shoulder and cleavage.It was a high low black gown,sleeved in the arms.The legs held a fish net stocking.

"I love this." she picked it off the hanger.

"This??" Kiyiya exclaimed in disgust "This is just a simple dress not a wedding one"

"This is what I want." Nina said firmly.There was no damn way that she'd expose all her body to those blood sucking demons.

"You can't wear this for your wedding.My lord will not like it"

"Your lord?" Nina raised an eyebrow "Is he your husband?"

Kiyiya was quiet for a while,then "Yes"

"Oh.How many wicedu does your lord have?"

"We don't have time for this.Pick another dress."

"I don't like any other one."

"Suit yourself" Kiyiya suddenly moved quickly towards the door.Before Nina could finish her sentence Kiyiya was no longer there.

"But I cant find my way back!" Nina changed into the dress and left the room,trying to find her way back through what seemed like the never ending maze.

She saw a door,thinking it would lead her else where she pulled it open.Group of vampires who were packed in the room partying felt angry that they were interrupted.

"Uhm..oops!" she smiled "I didn't mean to-"

"She's human.Get her!"

Nina slammed the door and ran away,although she knew it was useless.They have super speed.Suddenly she felt a hand on her arm pulling her.

She thought they'd caught up with her but instead she felt herself landing on something soft with someone on top of her.

Nina's eyes flew open to behold a pair of emerald eyes staring down at her with his hands around her.She was on his bed! Her heart raced.

How..how did she-

Immediately,she found herself standing in another room with Aiden in front of her.

"I didnt mean to take you to my bed,it was-"

Nina wasn't even listening to the rest of his sentence.She didnt know why but anytime she found herself near him her heart beats faster than normal and something in her seemed to want him.

"You shouldn't leave your room.Not all the vampires acknowledge you here." he turned to leave.

"Are..arent you their king?" her voice stopped him.

"I'm not"

"Do you stay here?"

"Sometimes." he moved to leave again when Nina went and stood in front of him.She slowly raised her eyes to his.

"You're half werewolf right? Well-"

She didn't wait for his reply.

"How..how does one feel when she's close to her mate?"
