“fuck! this stupid girl!” I was planning to go to the office tomorrow but I decided to go straight here today right after I landed. But fuck! My clothes were stained by this stupid employee in the company.

I should have just waited for tomorrow. And now she just walked away without even compensating me for my shirt.

“useless employees” wala na bang maayos na empleyado ‘tong kompanya na’to?

Hindi lang ata issue ang kailangan kong ayusin dito, maging ang structure kailangan ding ayusin. Ugh! That girl needs a lesson.

That girl, she's insanely beautiful but rotten to the core. What a useless girl.

I saw her ID, her name is Amore Celestine.

“Hello, Philip. I am at the company now, deliver a new set of clothes and I need you to come right now.” I called my secretary and I immediately went to the head office.

“Mr. Visconti, it's a pleasure to have you here in the company!” the bald president said as he walked near me and gave his hand.

I accepted his hand as a gesture of respect to old people. I kept a straight face while looking at him.

I have a lot to check because of the issue. I need to find the rat that's infesting this little company.

“Please follow me to the conference room, we have our presenters ready for the reports, Sir”

Pumunta na kami sa conference room kung saan gaganapin ang reporting ng each department because I requested a brief history of this company.

I sat at the middle chair meant for me. Iginala ko ang mata ko sa mga empleyadong nasa loob ngayon and to my surprise, the stupid girl is here, lucky!

I stared at her, she's busy scanning her laptop. Mukhang isa siya sa mga mag rereport ngayong araw sa harap ko.

“Hmm.. this is gonna be interesting” taka naman akong tinignan ni Philip sa sinabi ko.

As I stare at her, I can't deny she's really beautiful. Her beauty is not ordinary, at least in this country.

She really caught my attention huh?

“Everyone, may I have your attention please!” the speaker said and that's the time she lifted her head and caught my eye.

Halatang nagulat siya na makita ako na nasa harap. tinaasan niya ng kilay ang babae katulad ng pagtaas nito ng kilay sa kanya kagabi.

“I would like to introduce to you, The Visconti Group CEO, the heir to the company and the most eligible bachelor. Mr. Alexander Francesco Visconti”

What a lame introduction. I stood up and kept my straight face.

I looked at her and her eyes are now bigger, shocked to know me? I smirked.

“Good morning everyone. I am here to know more about this company and to eventually deep dive into this issue. I am letting you all know that I don't want any incompetent employees here” then I looked at her while saying that.

Now I can feel her staring at me, I can't decipher her expression.

“Now kindly proceed with the reporting.”

Umupo na ako upang magpatuloy na ang meeting.

I focused on everyone that's presenting in front but I keep on glancing at her on my right side.

Naka focus din siya sa nag rereport sa harap at tahimik na nagsusulat sa kanyang notebook.

“alright, let's have Ms. Legaspi to present for the Sales and Marketing department, Ms. Legaspi?”

Oh, it's her time to present, let's see.

Umakyat sya sa mini stage at inayos ang kanyang PPT. She gracefully walks in front while feeling very nervous about what she learned about the man she stumbled with yesterday.

Hindi niya alam kung pagsisisihan ba niya na naging masungit siya sa lalaki at tinakbuhan pa ito. Ngayon nagsisisi na talaga siya!

“relax Amore, kaya mo to, just deliver it and don't mind him, don't look at him” tahimik na sabi nito sa kanyang sarili habang inaayos ang presentation.

Samantalang ikinatuwa naman ni Alex ang nakikita sa dalaga, natutuwa itong apektado ang dalaga sa nalaman.

“let's see if you're good enough to be standing in front” bulong nito sa sarili.

“Good morning everyone, Good morning Mr. Visconti-” sabay tingin sa lalaki

“I am here to present the past and current standing of Sales and Marketing…”

Naitawid niya ang presentation at nakikita niyang naipresent niya ito ng maayos. Makikita sa mga mukha ng mga taong nasa loob ng room na namangha sila sa galing nito sa pagsasalita sa harap.

maging si Alexander ay nagulat dahil hindi niya inaasahan ang galing ng dalaga.

“hmm not bad”

interesadong tinignan ni Alex ang dalaga habang pababa ito ng mini stage.

“Ms. Legaspi, I want a copy of your presentation, bring it to me at my office after the conference” baritonong sabi ni Alex ng pagbalik ni Amore sa kanyang upuan.

Agad namang nagulat si Amore at tumango na lamang bilang sagot sa lalaki.

“bakit kailangan ako pa ang mag deliver sa kanya, ‘di ba pwedeng ibigay ko nalang sa secretary niya or isend ko nalang sa email niya?” bulong nito sa sarili habang naghihintay sa labas ng office ni Mr. Visconti.

Kinakabahan siyang kumatok sa p***o nito.

“Good Morning po Mr. Visconti” bahagya siyang tumungo ng paglapit nito sa table niya.

“Ah! Ms. Legaspi, tignan mo nga naman, kagabi lang ay tinakbuhan mo ako” pang asar na sabi ni Alex

Nahihiyang napatingin si Amore sa lalaki.

“I would like to apologize about what happened last night Mr. Visconti, I did not know that you are Mr. Visconti and we were informed that you will be here today not last night so… I am sorry if I acted inappropriately. I would like to compensate for the shirt that I stained po” mahabang paliwanag ni Amore sa lalaki, hoping na maintindihan nito na hindi niya naman sinasadyang hindi niya kilala ang lalaki.

“hmmm I guess I'm not that popular huh”

“No, that's not what I mean”

“you want to compensate for the shirt? Do you know how expensive that shirt is? that's Ralph Lauren”

nagitla siya sa baritonong boses ng lalaki, oo nga naman, for sure mahal ang polo na suot niya dahil isa siyang billionaire. Napakamot nalang si Amore sa kanyang ulo ng napagtanto kung gaano kamahal ang polo na iyon.

“pasensya na po, pag iipunan ko nalang po. Pangako at babayaran ko po sa inyo”

gusto na niyang maiyak dahil kinenwenta pa lang niya ang gagastusin ay nanlulumo na siya.

“I don't need your money, I want you to be my assistant while I'm here, and that way you can compensate for the mess you made. You see, my assistant will be flying back to Italy to help with the HQ, you’ll be a good fit to be my secretary”

Naguguluhan siyang napatingin kay Mr. Visconti. Ako? magiging secretary niya?

“Huh? but Mr. Visconti, what about my work?”

“I think by now you know who I am right? I am the CEO of this company I think I should have all the right to decide what I want and who I want to be as my secretary”

napahiya siyang tumango sa lalaki. Oo nga naman, ano ba namang iniisip ko? malamang siya ang may ari ng buong company.

“I will have your senior know about this arrangement, don't worry, prepare to report to me tomorrow, you may now leave” walang ekspresyong sabi ng lalaki.

Hindi na umimik si Amore dahil wala naman na siyang magagawa pa, umalis na siya sa office nito at bumalik sa kanilang department.

lugmok na naupo si Amore sa kaniyang swivel chair.

“giirrrlll balita ko galing ka sa office ni Mr. Visconti, anong nangyari, gano ka pogi?” pag uusisa ni Daphne sa kanya.

Gusto niyang irapan ang babae sa sinabi.

“tigilan mo ako Daph, wala ako sa mood”

“What happened baby girl? gwapo ba???”

“Hindi naman” sagot nito, pero sino bang niloko niya? gwapo naman talaga ang lalaki.

“ayy parang may something, anong nangyari bakit ka pinatawag sa office niya?”

konti nalang ay masasapok niya na tong kaibigan niya.

“Well, I’m doomed!”

“oh no! What happened, sister. Palpak ba ang presentation mo? wait sabi naman nila ang galing daw ng presentation mo, so bakit?”

“I'm gonna be his secretary” sabi ko kay Daph na ikinalaki ng mata niya.

“omggg ahhh! sis! ang swerte mo naman, totoo ba?”

huh? ako swerte? as if naman swertehin ako sa lalaki nayun.

weirdo kong tinignan si Daphne sa naging reaksyon niya.

“anong swerte don? anong alam ko sa pagiging secretary?”

“girl! araw-araw mo siyang makikita, ang napaka gwapo niyang mukha, sana all beh!”

nandiri ako sa pinagsasabi nitong si Daphne, puro kalandian ang alam.

“kilabutan ka nga sa sinasabi mo diyan” asik ko sa kanya.

“heto talagang babae na to walang kiliti sa katawan”

wala talaga!

Hindi ko nalang siya pinansin at nagpatuloy na sa pagtatrabaho.
