Is she dead or alive.

"Ughh," I groaned as I tried to open my eyes. My body felt pain all over, something didn't feel right. I sat up and opened my eyes slowly, luckily the curtains were closed. I looked at my arm and leg, bandaged completely, but all of a sudden it didn't hurt.

I loosened the bandage to see the wolf bite but there was nothing. "What the..." I mumbled to myself in shock. I loosened the bandages on my leg and saw the same thing. Was it all a dream? I looked at my environment as I thought to myself. I had been here before, it was Theo's house. The room was properly furnished but it was dusty, just like I left it.

I stood up and walked to the mirror, I was wearing only shorts because of my wound. All I could see were the scars of the bite, no blood, no open wound.

I turned sideways as the door opened and I came face to face to face with a green-eyed woman. "Oh, you're up," she said as she looked down at me. "Apparently everywhere," she smiled and met my eyes again. I quickly grabbed some sheets and covered up.

"Who are you?" My head began to throb so I sat down. After a few seconds, I looked up and saw her hands crossed in front of her chest. She looked extremely young with strawberry blond hair and an extremely curvy figure.

"You've healed. I wonder what it is you would become. I've never seen anyone who's been bitten by a werewolf and a vampire. It better be worth my time because I canceled my plans because of this," she grumbled. "I'm Maxine, I'm sure you remember me from last night."

Last night? What happened last night? Werewolves and Vampires? I suddenly remembered how I got attacked and a mysterious woman stopped the wolves. I stood up when I remembered how she also bit my neck. "What did you do to me? My body doesn't feel the same. How did I heal so fast, it doesn't make any sense I..." I stopped as I tried to make sense of the situation.

No matter how much I tried to understand, I still had no clue. Footsteps suddenly echoed from outside the room. "Your female is on her way here, I think you should first cover up those wounds. Unless you want her to find out about all this," she gestured to my wound. I took the bandages and wrapped them around my scars again. If I could feel this confused, I'm sure Diane would have a heart attack.

The door swung open and a worried Diane came in. "Russell? Oh my God, I was so worried, I'm so glad you're awake," she hurriedly came closer and squeezed my body. As she came closer, I felt a sudden urge to go closer to her neck. I'd been around Diane for years but she never had this smell on her. My jaw began to hurt and after a while, she let go and started at me as she held my shoulders.

"Are you ok? You were hurt pretty bad, come sit down," she led me to the bed. I looked behind her and saw Maxine, she had a very unpleasant smile on her face when she saw me hold my jaw. What is she up to? She walked closer to us and held Diane.

"I'm sure you're worried about him, how about you get him something to eat," Maxine raised Diane from the bed. "He must be extremely hungry," she dragged on. "What about–”

"Ouch!" I felt a sharp pain in my chest as Diane yelled in pain. I looked closely and saw her forearm bleed.

"I'm sorry, I forgot about the fruit knife I held," Maxine peeked at me as she spoke. I kept on staring at the blood and slowly lost control of myself. I stood up and started walking toward them. "Come on, let's wash this up."

The room was filled with silence as they stepped out. Nothing was making sense anymore. I needed help, I was

Just about to have a taste of her blood.

The door opened again but this time, Theo came in. I was hungry but what I wanted wasn't pancakes or cereal. I wanted something else, but what? "You ok? Sorry about what happened last night," he scratched his head and looked away as if in shame. "I know you have a lot of questions, so before Diane comes back..." I saw his mouth move but all I could hear were pulsing sounds.

My head began to spin so I had to kneel to maintain balance. "Hey! What's wrong?" Theo came closer to me. I was too confused and hardly noticed Maxine come in, then I felt it again. The sharp pain I had when Diane bled, I looked up just in time to see her remove the knife from her neck. I felt a surge of energy and went to her, more quickly than I usually moved.

I grabbed her by the shoulders aggressively and started at the wound. I struggled to keep myself away. "Yes, do it, I know you want to," she whispered as she looked me in the eye.

"What are you doing Maxine?" Theo asked as he approached us.

"Stay away you mutt, he could kill you right now if you come closer," she said with a smile, not taking her eyes from mine for a second. She touched her wound with her fingertips and placed it on my lips.

My urge grew stronger and I bit her on the neck.

Strangely she moaned, and not because she was in pain. I kept drinking until I couldn't feel her grip on my arms anymore. I came back to my senses and stopped, but by then it was too late. Maxine crashed on the floor lifeless as I let go of her.

Just then I looked at Theo's shocked face and stared back at her body. At that moment, it felt like I walked into a horror movie, and I would have loved to get out of it.
