“So you and my baby sister huh?” Dave looks at me.

“Look it’s not like…” He stops me mid-sentence and puts his hand up.

“You know I have to give you the big brother ‘don’t you dare break her heart speech’ don’t you? Although I’m pretty sure she can handle herself, I wouldn’t be her big brother without at least mildly threatening you” Dave says, smiling at me.

“Well I give you credit for threatening a werewolf especially an Alpha at that” I laugh his way.

“You really don’t give us enough credit do you? From what I hear you needed her more last night than she needed you, but don’t worry I won’t go blabbing to your pack about how a witch just happened to save your life” Dave smiles warmly, clearly teasing me.

“Believe me I am very grateful for what your sister did for me last night, I just wish I could repay the favor.”

“I’m sure you’ll think of something” Dave says as he makes his way back towards his bedroom.

“Hey Dave, wait a second, do you think the elders w
