Millie's P.O.V.
It has been a week, and Hayden still didn't wake up. I could hardly eat or sleep. The thoughts of him occupied my mind. Why won't he come back to me already? My life felt meaningless without him pestering me endlessly. Visiting him at the hospital every day became part of my routine. His parents tried to protest as it took a toll on me physically and mentally, but I didn't want to listen. The only thing that mattered to me was Hayden. It was him and me against the world.
