Ash reached for where Myan had been standing, confused by what had occurred. He took a step forward and withdrew to hold his shoulder with a tight grip. It was the effect of the venom from the black tree. He sucked the pain in, his facial muscles disorientating as he held the expression.
Ash pulled her close and began to kiss the skin of her neck delicately, one hand moving down to cup her breast, squeezing with delight. This was not the time and place- wherever this was; for this. But he was not going to stop.Feeling the need to go straight to the point, he took himself in one hand and in her standing position, she turned around and arched her back,
"Second Queen! The fourth princess is waiting at the place gates!" A servant ran into the queen's courtyard where the other queens were seated, talking to her gently. As soon as she heard the news, Alice sprung to her feet and hurried to the gate so she could see for herself. She didn't even want a confirmation.
"I'm glad to see that you have all honoured me and gathered here today." Minrad began with his speech. Asha was supposed to be by his side as he stood still by the mountain entrance, where he could easily be seen by all the villagers who had gathered, mostly for the sake of gossip, to know who their new leader was, what had happened to Ash and what was going on.It was tradition for his wife to be up with him, if he did have one.
Asha could already tell whose body figure she was staring at from behind before the lady in a gown turned around."Myan!" Asha cried, spreading her arms as she ran forward wailing.
Ash knew that he had not been thinking right when he went after Asha and her foolish decision but he would never stand and watch a woman fall to her death while he did nothing about it, powers or not.At this point, he could tell that he wasn't going to catch up with her and there was nothing he could do.
"What?" Myan walked closer to him, her hands spread to receive his incoming arms that were spread apart for a hug. She had a feeling he would tell her some bad news but a part of her was hopeful. He rested her head against his chest and kissed the top of her head. "I got my powers back." He said it as if it meant nothing to him.
"Ash, who is that? What's wrong?" Myan frowned as she made her way to where he stood with an injured woman in his arms. Myan's first thoughts were Asha and it was reasonable because she had not stopped thinking about the woman for once since she left."The bedroom." Ash simply said, going in that direction. She wondered if he had attacked her by mistaking her for a beast but she followed obediently.
"Ash?" Myan called him aside when they had sent a servant to fetch the medicine man."Hmm?" Ash shifted into reality, previously lost in thoughts."Im worried about our visitor." She confessed and furrowed her eyebrows when she realised he was not paying any attention to her. "What are you thinking about?" She wondered."It is nothing, my mind just went back to Frost and what he could possibly be doing at the moment." He heaved a sigh."Why woujd you suddenly remember him?" Myan furrowed her eyebrows, "do you think he has some sort of connection with this lady?" She asked, sitting by his foot."No… I just remembered his punishment and felt a bit of pity for him if I'm being honest." Ash said."Punishment?" Now that he mentioned it, she realised she hadn't put full thoughts to Frost since the last time they saw. She had no thoughts for him. It was almost as if h
