LOGINSarah ran out of the Hall, in front of the large crowd gathered. Some looked at her with confusion, not knowing what transpired. While some minded their business.
Sarah kept running, not looking if she bumped into someone or not. She ran till she reached the edge of the woods. Some students lurk behind, either with their partners or their friends, or some just stay behind for no reason. Sarah squatted down, keeping her head on her knees. As she cries silently. For the first time, she felt tired. About everything, she just wanted to go home, go far away from here. The environment suddenly stilled. That Sarah felt it too. Before she could still hear people talking, voices lurking around. But now everything just stilled as if no one was there. Looking up, her eyes first caught a brown expensive shoe, followed by a pair of long pants, and before going up to a black thick jacket and a dangerous but handsome face, he looked at her silently, there wasn't anything written on his face. Only his brow crossed down in a frown. Everyone was gone. No one dared to stay where Adrian was. His presence alone was suffocating even though she herself didn't dare cry that much. Adrian looked down at Sarah. He didn't know why she was crying. And for some reason that made him upset. He had come over the Hall to see Sarah and catch that person that dared spy on him. But for some reason just seeing Sarah crying made him really upset that he completely forgot about his original plan. He could see her make up smeared around her face. Finally he spoke after a while. “Why are you crying?” His voice wasn't laced with pity but it demanded answers like it sees its toy crying for no reason and asked why it was crying. Sarah stared at him with shock. Adrian had always been a cold and tempered person. So him asking her even with that tone was something she never even imagined. But for some reason she forgot why she was crying, but seeing how he cared for her, how he followed her all the way here made her slightly emotional, that she did what she has never done before. She rushed into his arms. Those arms that were locked in his pants. She rushed directly into him and hugged him crying more. Adrian stiffen, this came as a shock to him. He had never hugged or hugged someone apart from his mom. And that was ages ago, before she died when he was still small. And now someone hugged him, and most importantly it was a girl. Adrian honestly didn't know what to do. Looking down at her. He could smell her hair, they smelt nice and fresh. His arms tugged in his pocket for a moment he hesitated before pulling it out and tapped her back thrice. “You are wetting my clothes” With nothing else to say. That was the only word he used. You are wetting my clothes. Sarah, feeling embarrassed, laughed it off before pulling away from him. Adrian immediately felt it, the loneliness. When she hugged him. He felt warmed. “Sorry. It's stained” Sarah used her hands to wipe the wet side that she caused away from his jacket. “Why don't you give me and I will laundry and dry it for you” “No need. It's a jacket. It's not weak.” Adrian stares at her for a moment before handling her his handkerchief “I never knew you were a cry baby” Sarah took it, laughing it off awkwardly “I don't really cry. Only on special moments. I will get it clean for you” Sarah said referring to the handkerchief given to her by Adrian. Adrian looked at her as she wiped her ruined makeup before he looked away. “And… What's your special moment” Sarah kept silent, choosing her words carefully before answering. “Today” She responded and started walking away from the woods. Towards their Hall scheduled for them to meet. Adrian follows her walking side by side with her. From another point of view the two looked like a young couple having their nice time together. Adrian handsome but cold face matching Sarah beautiful, calm but with a little bit of Mischievous. For some reason they looked perfect together. “Why were you crying?” Adrian asked. Sarah paused for a while before continuing. “I __ missed home. Yes I missed home that's why I was crying, earlier” Adrian looked at her for some reason he felt she was lying. But he didn't push further. “I promised to protect you,” Adrian said. “And I plan on doing that to the very end.” Sarah felt her heart bleed for some reason. That word he spoke meant something to her. Although he didn't accept her as his mate. But he did promise to protect her. And he has been doing that since. And now she doesn't know what she feels towards him. “Why don't you want to mate me? Why did you reject me, or am I not good for you?” Sarah asked the one question always on her mind. But Adrian didn't respond, only one walking away like it was walking away from something. That Something he didn't want to have anything to do with.Mr Johnson watched as Adrian dealt with his pressure with ease, and he felt shocked. He was much higher in power skills and combat power than Adrian. But the fact that Adrian countered it made him feel shut out of words. When he first arrived in this academy. He heard a lot of stories about Adrian, the dark horse of the academy. And he thought he was only flaunting his family powers. But when he experienced how he easily countered his skill, he knew he had to elevate his opinion about him. Although everyone in the Hall saw what happened, they didn't know that an exchange was done in a mere 3 seconds. Not even the human, nor the spiritual beings detected any signs. They knew Adrian was doomed. In the academy. It was against the rule to go against a lecturer, and not any one at that but Mr Johnson. A man feared by all. Although he only came into the academy recently, he was able to make everyone wary of him. Mr Johnson stood still on the podium, no one knew what was on his mind. Ini
Sarah came back to the Hall. The same Hall every class B was told to wait. Arriving outside she could clearly hear noises from outside. No instructors were here yet. Adrian looked at her for a split second before turning away, and walking off. While Sarah looked on at the departing Adrian as a wave of emotions overwhelmed her. She never wanted any regrets. When he rejected her, she thought it was an opportunity to just complete her task and leave. But now he seems to be messing with her emotions. She is confused and doesn't know what to do. Maybe she needed a break from all this. Not wanting to think further. She went into the Hall. Kate hasn't arrived yet. That's strange. Even though the instructor hasn't arrived yet. But Kate is supposed to have been here by now. Using her six senses, she scanned the entire Hall. Ever since she was able to tame her wolf, she slowly began to be able to do some basic things all wolves can do. Like having the ability to hear voices from far and nea
Kate held some books to her blossom. Walking fast to get to where Sarah was. Seeing how far the distance was from where she was to where the Hall was located. She decided to take a short cut or rather what she thinks it's the fastest route. Turning to her left she walked for a while before she crossed a place that people don't frequently pass through. The road was lonely, as it was near the woods. Kate held her textbook tightly to her chest, as she took a deep breath, wondering if it was okay passing through. Many people have complained about seeing animals lurking around, especially wolves. Although she did not know how true those words were. But seeing how Sarah would be waiting for her. She shut her eyes tightly before opening them. What was left was a look of determination, as she crossed the narrow road, she kept her fingers crossed, praying silently. But her feet were faster now, compared to before. She had just reached the edge and just a few steps would take her out of ther

The next day… In a large Hall besides the Cateferia. Groups of students from 01B, 02B, 03B, and 04B gathered together. Even when gathered together the senior students showed off by not associating with their Juniors. Even most of the Junior didn't dare go cause trouble for the senior as they stayed in their lane. Sarah and Kate stood together. Their instructor was supposed to be there but for some reason no one was available at the moment. “We have been standing here for over 30 minutes now and no one is here now. No teacher or instructor.” Kate complained. Her brows turn in a frown. “They might be here any moment though. We were asked to wait here. So someone would definitely come. By the way, where is the text book I asked about?” Sarah remembered she asked for some textbooks from Kate. She hasn't been paying much attention to some subjects and now to make up for that she has to study hard. “Ouch, I completely forgot it in class. I really wanted to give you, but it slipped my m
Into the woods, where everything seems quiet. A figure suddenly appears covering her face with a hood. Her steps seem light as she walks. Even when she stepped on top of a weak stick, her feet seemed so soft that she couldn't break the branch. When she reached a particular place where she was sure no one was watching. She leaned on the tree, taking off the hood that was hiding her face. Her eyes were red with blood, trailing down. Her face now looked so weak with little blood. Right now if any one could see her. They would surely think she was an old woman in her death bed. “ You are injured” Suddenly a voice resounds in her head. It wasn't a question but a statement. The weak lady looked in a particular far direction where she was sure the source of the voice could be. There is a figure wearing a large hooded black coat. No one could know if it was male or female. But the deep voice dictated that it was a male.“Adrian injured my eyes” The figure didn't move. But it crossed distanc
