30. THE ONE WHO BENT SPACE

“Oi oi. Calm down tiger, don't go pouncing on me” Edward chuckled slowly. Although he was sure he wasn't Adrian's match. But as a fox demon. He had the ability to detect one's emotions. And he was 80% sure that Adrian won't attack him, or put it to heart. Although that 20% was that Adrian has never followed the rules. Always acting the way he wishes.

But regardless, he bet everything on that 80%.

Sure enough, Adrian looked the other way, and walked off. To him Edward wasn't any threat to him. What if he knew? He wasn't scared. What if he tells anyone? He wouldn't care. But he was sure that the cunning fox wouldn't go around spitting things about him.

Adrian took a swing of his cigarette before butting it down with his boot heel. He lazily looked at what the councils were doing.

To him, they were performing. And he was getting sick watching them. If they really wanted to showcase their powers, then they could have easily done that after all this was done. What was the need for this? They were definitely behaving immature to him, and he was getting sick and tired of watching them.

With his fingers raised, he performed hand signs.

Suddenly the space Distorted. Everyone felt something picky their skins. Some with less powers began to bleed profusely. While some faster once quickly covered themselves with their protective shield.

“What the heck!”

“Who's that”

“What sort of power is this”

“Why is my skin cutting!”

“The space here looks broken. See! I can see shards flying around!”

“There's a master here!”

The students began discussing. Moments before, their attention had been on the councils. But now for some reason they felt oppressed by a third party. Who they don't know who he or she was.

Suddenly “look the portal had finally opened!” Someone shouted!

A big round circle appeared not far from them. It was multicolored. The students could see that the color seems alive, as it moves around each other, trying to merge within one and the other.

“Why do I feel the portal was opened by this third party?” A student asked, looking at the councils that were still showcasing their powers.

Up in the air. Laura looked below, and she was greatly surprised. She had been too focused on her fight that completely forgot about the students' training. With shame over washing her. She alerted her colleagues.

Clearing his throats, the man spoke righteously. “Now you students can go in now. The portal has been opened, remember the rules. And avoid trouble.” He looked at the students below, but his eyes betrayed him as he watched Adrian who seems nonchalant. If they were anyone who could dare open the portal apart from the teachers, then he was sure that would be this bastard.

No teachers would dare just go against the councils.

He had been wanting to showcase his use of power. He had been wanting to instill fear in the heart of the student. Let the students know who their councils were. But someone just had to mess things up. And he was sure he would deal with him, at a later date.

After everyone had gone in apart from the councils, the teachers and some of the students that gave up their opportunity to explore.

A big screen appeared, listing the names of the contestants that entered the portal. Adrian could see every single name written. But there were few that caught his attention and few that he acknowledged. And the one that definitely caught his attention was the name Sarah and one other, Mia. She was the one that he placed a mark on. For some reason he had been forgetting to go pay her a visit. But since he had noticed her now. He put it as a point of contact that he would definitely settle scores with her. While the ones he acknowledges were, Kate, Zero, although that slash had been because of his carelessness. But he definitely would acknowledge his strength. Because he feels that they were more to him, than that slash. And the rest were John, Jason, and Anthony. This guy was one of the most mysterious guys he had ever met. And someone he could say was a worthy opponent. Although none of them had made him use his power, space power. But Anthony was definitely the first student to do that.
