I lay on my bed, sleep refusing to come. The events that took place today, the meeting with her, and the fight, Replayed in my mind. That bastard almost took my life. “Ugh” I rolled off the bed, the room was dark, the interior looked normal. Ever since I started living in the palace, I was given a normal room, a room not different from that of a maid or a palace guard. Feeling the bandages wrapped around me made me think of her. Tall and slender, with those eyes, makes me think this girl was trouble. Her hands seemed soft, and… “ Gosh I am in need of a drink, what the hell am I thinking of” Although I am a prince, I am treated no less than a common man. My so-called father refused to acknowledge me, because I am a product of a woman he once had a one night stand with. No alcohol around. I picked up my clothes, wore them and left my small space. I walked through the court yard, to the next one. A palace stood, grand and majestically, compared to mine that's just a small cottage. The guards there ignored my existence, they didn't acknowledge me as their prince, reminding me how nothing I am, how I'm just someone destined to be lonely. This palace standing before me was one of the many palaces around. When I entered, my feet stopped for a moment. I could hear the sound of moaning. I speculate whether I should continue or go back. But my urge for this drink made me walk in. And then right in the sitting room, my half brother, Jason on top of a young man ploughing in and out of his a$s. The man screamed at the same time Moan, as Jason kept ploughing in. Just ignore it. I went to the counter where drinks were kept, taking one and about taking my leave. “Hey bro, hold up, I will be done in a jiffy” Jason called over, he seems to have seen me. Just like a beast, he ploughs in deeper, his hand wraps around the man's neck as he keeps ploughing in. When it looked like the man might be strangled to death, Jason released a loud groan. And all this while I sat on a cushion not far away from their activities, sipping my drinks. “Oh oh bro, you came along bro, sorry you have to see that” Jason sat down opposite me, waving his hand, a man dressed in a lady outfit came in with a glass cup and a bottle of champagne. Jason took the glass and waved the Manservant off. “ I will drink with my bro today” I sip my drink silently, reminiscing the tastes, it's not everyday I get to drink this. One of the best and most expensive wines. “Father will have my head, if he finds out about this” Jason drank a mouthful of his drink. “About what? Sleeping with your guards or the fact I am here drinking with you” my deep dark eyes locked eyes with Jason. Jason stayed silent for a while before diverting his eyes. Chuckling silently, he lay back in his seat. “ If it's the man stuff, then it's father, but if I am caught drinking with you, now at this moment. Then mother is definitely going to bite my head and give you to eat it.” “Lame joke” I sip more of my drinks. Everyone knows how strong I am. In terms of combat, either in my wolf form, or in my human form, I was way too strong. Even my so-called father approved of my strength. I am sometimes scared of the kind of power I hold. Is it that it's because of the fact that I am an alpha? Jason chuckled, he was the only among the family that was close to me. I remembered when I first came to this family, everyone looked at me with disgust and hatred, but he only smiled not one of tricks but of genuine. “You are injured” “Yep” I answered straight. Jason's eyes became wide open. Like he just had the shocking news. “It's weird, for someone to injure you. I am getting curious about who is that” “It's nobody, just a moment of distraction that's all” Seeing that the bottle was almost empty out and not in the mood for some silly chat. I got up ready to head outside. “Just for the heads up. He is coming back” Jason Drew my attention. I turned back, for some reason my heart did a double take. Who? Jason seems to have read my thoughts. “You know who I am talking about” My jaw tightened. That bastard.Sarah came back to the Hall. The same Hall every class B was told to wait. Arriving outside she could clearly hear noises from outside. No instructors were here yet. Adrian looked at her for a split second before turning away, and walking off. While Sarah looked on at the departing Adrian as a wave of emotions overwhelmed her. She never wanted any regrets. When he rejected her, she thought it was an opportunity to just complete her task and leave. But now he seems to be messing with her emotions. She is confused and doesn't know what to do. Maybe she needed a break from all this. Not wanting to think further. She went into the Hall. Kate hasn't arrived yet. That's strange. Even though the instructor hasn't arrived yet. But Kate is supposed to have been here by now. Using her six senses, she scanned the entire Hall. Ever since she was able to tame her wolf, she slowly began to be able to do some basic things all wolves can do. Like having the ability to hear voices from far and nea
Kate held some books to her blossom. Walking fast to get to where Sarah was. Seeing how far the distance was from where she was to where the Hall was located. She decided to take a short cut or rather what she thinks it's the fastest route. Turning to her left she walked for a while before she crossed a place that people don't frequently pass through. The road was lonely, as it was near the woods. Kate held her textbook tightly to her chest, as she took a deep breath, wondering if it was okay passing through. Many people have complained about seeing animals lurking around, especially wolves. Although she did not know how true those words were. But seeing how Sarah would be waiting for her. She shut her eyes tightly before opening them. What was left was a look of determination, as she crossed the narrow road, she kept her fingers crossed, praying silently. But her feet were faster now, compared to before. She had just reached the edge and just a few steps would take her out of ther
Sarah ran out of the Hall, in front of the large crowd gathered. Some looked at her with confusion, not knowing what transpired. While some minded their business. Sarah kept running, not looking if she bumped into someone or not. She ran till she reached the edge of the woods. Some students lurk behind, either with their partners or their friends, or some just stay behind for no reason. Sarah squatted down, keeping her head on her knees. As she cries silently. For the first time, she felt tired. About everything, she just wanted to go home, go far away from here. The environment suddenly stilled. That Sarah felt it too. Before she could still hear people talking, voices lurking around. But now everything just stilled as if no one was there. Looking up, her eyes first caught a brown expensive shoe, followed by a pair of long pants, and before going up to a black thick jacket and a dangerous but handsome face, he looked at her silently, there wasn't anything written on his face. Onl
The next day… In a large Hall besides the Cateferia. Groups of students from 01B, 02B, 03B, and 04B gathered together. Even when gathered together the senior students showed off by not associating with their Juniors. Even most of the Junior didn't dare go cause trouble for the senior as they stayed in their lane. Sarah and Kate stood together. Their instructor was supposed to be there but for some reason no one was available at the moment. “We have been standing here for over 30 minutes now and no one is here now. No teacher or instructor.” Kate complained. Her brows turn in a frown. “They might be here any moment though. We were asked to wait here. So someone would definitely come. By the way, where is the text book I asked about?” Sarah remembered she asked for some textbooks from Kate. She hasn't been paying much attention to some subjects and now to make up for that she has to study hard. “Ouch, I completely forgot it in class. I really wanted to give you, but it slipped my m
Into the woods, where everything seems quiet. A figure suddenly appears covering her face with a hood. Her steps seem light as she walks. Even when she stepped on top of a weak stick, her feet seemed so soft that she couldn't break the branch. When she reached a particular place where she was sure no one was watching. She leaned on the tree, taking off the hood that was hiding her face. Her eyes were red with blood, trailing down. Her face now looked so weak with little blood. Right now if any one could see her. They would surely think she was an old woman in her death bed. “ You are injured” Suddenly a voice resounds in her head. It wasn't a question but a statement. The weak lady looked in a particular far direction where she was sure the source of the voice could be. There is a figure wearing a large hooded black coat. No one could know if it was male or female. But the deep voice dictated that it was a male.“Adrian injured my eyes” The figure didn't move. But it crossed distanc
Sarah held Adrian in his necks while Adrian's hands wrapped around her waist as he appeared straight outside Sarah's classroom class 01B. “Thanks,” Sarah said. They had been sparring almost the entire afternoon. And she was just back for the last lecture.Adrian nodded, not replying. He looked at Sarah for a moment, his face as cold as usual. But he felt lost for a moment, his hand wasn't as warm as before. The feeling. That touch. He folds his hand into a fist. Even though it was only for an instance. But that touch. For some reason he wanted to hold her forever. That feeling was something he had never experienced.“Lecture has started, but I still need to be in regardless” Sarah looked at the closed door, she could vaguely hear a voice coming from it. She has missed the entire lectures and she honestly hopes not to miss this. It wasn't that she was worried that she would fail but her friend, Kate. She didn't know what that vampire boy did to her, and her heart has been eager to se
