ログインSarah came back to the Hall. The same Hall every class B was told to wait. Arriving outside she could clearly hear noises from outside. No instructors were here yet.
Adrian looked at her for a split second before turning away, and walking off. While Sarah looked on at the departing Adrian as a wave of emotions overwhelmed her. She never wanted any regrets. When he rejected her, she thought it was an opportunity to just complete her task and leave. But now he seems to be messing with her emotions. She is confused and doesn't know what to do. Maybe she needed a break from all this. Not wanting to think further. She went into the Hall. Kate hasn't arrived yet. That's strange. Even though the instructor hasn't arrived yet. But Kate is supposed to have been here by now. Using her six senses, she scanned the entire Hall. Ever since she was able to tame her wolf, she slowly began to be able to do some basic things all wolves can do. Like having the ability to hear voices from far and near, able to sense presence not guess. Able to search the entire Hall with her eyes in an instance. Although she was already able to hear voices and sense presences, this was different. It was just like a new version of hearing clearly and sensing more accurately. “She isn't here yet” Sarah looked on in dazed, and her smell felt so faint. Barely there. As if she never came back. Sarah took out her phone to call Kate. The number kept ringing, but no one answered it. That's strange. Sarah had a bad feeling about this. Normally Kate would pick up on the second ring. She and Kate were hardly inseparable, and the time she's alone either because of one or two things, Kate would call to check up on her, or she would call Kate. And Kate always picks up, because she has always been with her phone. “Something is wrong somewhere” Sarah had a bad feeling. She decided to go check up on her friend. She has just reached the entrance or rather was about reaching the entrance. When a middle aged man waltzes in with a frown on his face. “Everyone get back and stand in one line according to your classes” his voice was solid but firm. Everyone in the Hall immediately went mute. No one dared to speak as they silently went to stand in a straight line. Forming four straight lines. Sarh stood at the door, unsure of what to do. If it was just any teacher, she wouldn't be that unsure. She would have done what was on her mind, and wouldn't care about the consequences. But here and now. Power was speaking. Not authority. This man as a vampire was ten times stronger than her. When he passed her, because he was in a foul mood, he mistakenly released a tiny portion of his aura, and Sarah felt so shaken. There were powers above her father. What kind of power would the Peterson hold, that they have a powerful figure like this man would be an instructor in their school. How many powerful figures are in this school exactly. “Young lady, I don't think I should repeat myself again, right?” Sarah gasps, giving up on the thought of going to look for Kate. She didn't want to draw any attention to her. Walking back to her line with a different gaze pressed on hers. She didn't bother with them, but a gaze caught her attention. That gaze bore through her. Sarah looked at the source of the gaze, and her heart did a flip. That gaze belonged to Adrian, who was at the very back of his line. And that gaze was one of questions. He was asking her if she was alright with his gaze. For some reason Sarah could understand it. Because it wasn't cold but just felt unnatural. “Kate” Sarah mouthed the word to him. And a look of understanding drawn on him, as he looked away. Sarah returned to her line. The instructor kept rambling about the competition, but Sarah could barely register any of it. Because her mind wasn't there as usual. She was just thinking about her friend. Was Kate in trouble? Thoughts and imagination kept flowing into her head, making her feel uncomfortable. The instructor went on for some time, just as Sarah felt she couldn't hold it anymore. Adrian walked out from his line. That sudden movement stopped the instructor, as he stared at Adrian walking out of the Hall, with no regards at all. Others didn't find it strange as it would be strange for Adrian to still remain in the Hall. His classmates know he doesn't even stay during lecture hours. He was someone who hates being controlled. “Young man, I didn't remember giving you the privilege to walk out of this class.” The instructor Mr Johnson, stared coldly at Adrian. Releasing his aura and controlling it perfectly so that only Adrian would feel it. The pressure bore on Adrian, making him stop on his track. His tall back faced Mr Johnson. He was supposed to give up and return to his line and everything would be over. But that would mean he wasn't Adrian. Because he never backed down from a situation. And he won't let anyone control him. With just turning the side of his face to the instructor, he walked out. The pressure could not resist him, because he was space himself. Using space he controlled the pressure into a space dimension. Mr Johnson's eyes reddened instantly. He never felt so insulted in his entire life. Although he had been hearing of the name Adrian ever since he came to this school last year. But he had never thought of him because he hadn't crossed paths with him. “You just got on my bad side boy” That was the word Adrian heard. That sentence mixed with hate and vengeance. This should be enough to weaken his resolve. But Adrian didn't spare him much of a glance as he kept walking forward. His eyes shine brightly and just like that he felt the whole school was on his palm. He could feel the activities of all the students and teachers. A group of students arguing two floors above. A teacher walking down a corridor, heels tapping in rhythm.A window left slightly open, wind brushing against the curtains. Nothing escaped him. No one escaped him. No one dares, because they couldn't. And then… “Found you”The luxurious bus took the students to the school airport, where they would board a paratrooper that would take them directly to their destination. Adrian saw Laura waiting for them. She wore a thick black jacket, and Jeans, with a black Boot to go. Her hair is tired pony tail, which brought out her beauty and youthful age. Any one who saw her would think she was at her prime. Adrian noticed the presence of three more people, which Mr Johnson being among them. The look on his eyes passed a message to Adrian that he had forgotten about the last grievances caused to him. This made Adrian understood that he had climb over the wall. The other two was a man in his late forties and a woman. This were the councils sent to oversee the tournament. The woman looked at Adrian for a second before changing focus on Sarah who stood beside Adrian. This made everyone feel surprise. No one has ever gotten nearer to Adrian talk less of standing besides him. “Alright let's begin, you can come over
“How's she?” A hooded figure covered in black. Looked at Mia who laid on the bed covered in bandage around her chest area. This hooded figure was the one who helped Mia the last time. “She's fine for now. The sword was targeted to kill her” The Mia maid explained. “Two in a roll. First was Adrian, and second is someone we don't know anything about. And this is very dangerous.” The mystery figure thought loudly. “Do you think she was targeted because they found out about her?” “Don't say that. Although I can't overrule that. I will definitely keep my eyes on the academy councils. I am sure if what you are saying is true then that person would try to report the matter, in other he can receive great benefit. And that's our clue to catch him or her. But before that I will be on my way” The mysterious figure looked at Mia. “If she wakes up. Tell her, her father is angry and scared for her. Although she's bent on fulfilling her duty to him. He is more worried for her. And his best wish
“Mi lady! What's going on? What happened to you? Why are you bleeding?” A maid cried as she ran to Mia who laid on the cold floor bleeding from her chest. That strike was lethal and deadly. Because zero wanted to end her life at that point, so he planned on giving her a strike that would end her in a bit. But she still managed to escape regardless, all thanks to her fathers talisman. And since one of them got broken. That means her talisman remained one, and after she used it, she would be hopeless. With no sought of protection talisman again. Mia honestly thought that the protection talisman was to defend against Adrian. In the upcoming confrontation. She could already feel the mark reacting strongly. That means they were going to have a confrontation between each other.. But now they were someone else. That person was deadly. The next dayIn the academy. The school is filled up with people, students walking towards the podium. Many were eager, while some detested competition like
Mia panicked slightly, but that was all. With a gentle move, her hand swiveled around the sword. No matter how fast the sword was, it was supposed to cut through Mia. But the techniques Mia applied caused the sword to greatly slow down. Then with her other hand, she gently wiped the sword away causing the sword to rotate and get stuck on the ground. “An assassin" Mia looked at the sword on the ground with a frown. “Now you missed your best chance. I'm sure you will want to come out” Mia grew up as royalty in the demon realm. And she knew the in and out. She also knows of a clan in the Demon realm that deals in assassinations. She knows that they were one of the top demon clans that had access to the outside world. Because of their success in their assassination. They had one rule: never miss. The moment they did, the mission was considered a failure. But the problem was. They never missed in their attempt. Only a strike was enough to change the tide, in a battle. So she was confiden
Kate watches as her sister walks away looking sad and at loss. She felt terribly sorry for lying to her. But everything was for the best. She hardened her heart. Not wanting to feel any emotions. “What if she finds out that all this was a lie?” John walked forward to where Kate stood. He took out a cigarette from his pocket and lit it. “She won't, she trusts me,” Kate replied, taking the cigarette from John. John frowned at her action. He took another and lit it. “Trust your family first, but never forget that familiarity breeds the easiest deception.” John puffed out. Looking at the sky, no one knew what was on his mind. “Now I know why my father told me that. Kate’s fingers trembled slightly as she raised the cigarette to her lips.“Sigh, I am just tired. I wish all this would end quickly.” John said the thought of going back crossed his mind. He wasn't as optimistic as he was when he first came here. And he definitely knew the reason. “Is it because of that little mate of your
“Bro! Over here!” Adrian looked over at the source of the voice as he stood Jason walking towards him. He was wearing a hat to cover his face, but Adrian saw through it, and recognized him immediately. Seeing he was far away from him and seeing the distance between them, Adrian walked away not caring to wait. “You bastard!” Jason swore as he ran. Just to meet up with Adrian. Once Jason was within Adrian range. He held his shoulder, “come on man. You couldn't even wait for me. Your bro!” Jason cried out. Adrian looked forward, not caring. His cold and emotionless face, made the passerby unknowingly avoid him. “Where are you heading to?” Jason asked after seeing how Adrian wasn't even replying to him. He was already used to it though.“Nowhere” A short reply from Adrian. Jason rolled his eyes. Placing his hand around his shoulder, his handsome features couldn't be denied, sharp features with that sly smile he always wore. Adrian thought he took it from his step mom. “Why are you he
