The light that surrounded them died down and Akira opened her eyes only to find herself standing at the door with Rune.

“As I was saying, the spell already kicked in the moment you walked in here.”

“Are you saying that we didn't move past this place?” Akira asked.

“See, she gets it.” Orion said to Rune.

Akira could feel some emotion stir inside her, she did not know which one it was, but she was certain that anger was the most prominent.

“What was that supposed to mean Orion!” She yelled, “that was messed up.”

Rune stood there looking lost and confused, “wait, am I missing something?” He asked innocently.

“And don't you act all innocent like you don't know what I am talking about” she said, directing her fury to Rune.

“Slow down tiger.” Rune said defensively, “I have no idea what you are talking about and it won't hurt if you just say what it is that troubles you rather than yell and be bitchy.”

“Oh cut her some slack.”
