[Amya’s POV]

I let out a sigh before collapsing in my seat. I had to admit that using my powers to bring both Armal and Mykel to the oasis had really taken it out of me.

"Are you okay?" Pam asked, eyeing me with worry. "You don’t look so good."

"I’m okay." I responded, forcing a smile.

"You won’t be once I’m done with you." Mykel warned, snapping his eyes open. "Why the hell did you do that?"

"Welcome back." I said, trying to feign innocence. "I don’t quite know what you mean."

"Don’t play coy."

"Could we not do this now?" I sighed, closing my eyes.

By this point, I could feel a massive headache coming on. Maybe I really did overexert myself this time. Or maybe Mia’s fighting in the oasis was draining my energy as well. I couldn’t be sure, especially since we never ran into an issue like this before.

"Are you okay?" Mykel asked, repeating Pam’s question from earlier.

"I don’t know." I admitted, "Maybe after a little sleep."
