Goodbye

Jordan let out a heavy sigh this time. He wanted to help Devlin but a more powerful strength was ruling over the events; that is fate.

“Then at least, go and visit, one last time.”

Devlin shook his head. He lowered his stormy eyes.

''Dev, she's still unconscious. Go and see her one last time. Tell her everything that is on your heart. You won’t meet again anyway. So, better to lighten your feelings now than to miss this opportunity forever.”

As Jordan’s words hit him, Devlin met his gaze. Jordan gave him a reassuring smile. Only then, he nodded.

His heart skipped a beat then started to gallop. His legs felt suddenly weak and his jaw tightened to an extent that it made a sound. His fingers hardened in a tight fists, his rough fingers were piercing his palm, almost bleeding it. His gaze, his gaze was soft but sorrowful. Devlin gulped before he muttered sadly,
