After a one night stand comes disaster

I woke up the next morning with the hardest hangover I had ever had in my entire life.

I wasn’t one to have hangovers, that was totally not my thing considering I wasn’t just like everyone else.

The first thing my hand touched was the pillow case and I slowly touched the phone on the bed but the moment I did all the memories of last night came crashing in.

“Damn it” I cursed out as the terror scrambled into my head all over again and I stood up to look around but just like I imagined I was in my room and in my bed.

I didn’t have time to think much of it before the door to my room was opened and Ava walked in with a cup of coffee, the moment she saw me awake her face spread into the wildest smile.

“You had a nice night honey” Ava said slowly as she sat on the edge of the bed and handed me the cup of coffee. “Who is he?”

I spat out the hot coffee from my mouth as I looked at her but she didn’t move an inch and it was then it all dawned on me, that it wasn’t a fucking nightmare I did have sex it with a stranger.

Aria ? Ava called as she stood up. I have known you for two years and in those years you wouldn’t even let any man approach you regardless of how much I tried.

I didn’t take you to that club to fuck yourself up , of all the places that you could do it, you went to the club, got drunk and had a fucking one night with a stranger, the least you could do is tell me how that person is.

I bit my lower lips as I stood up from the bed, and moved around with the cup of coffee towards my dressing table. I wanted to check my phone.

You don’t have to do that, Ava cuts me off .We both got our termination letter this morning, and Mr hale never reach out to our company, our boss said we are totally useless so back to the conversation, tell me who you fucked last night.

“He didn’t reach out ?

Of course not honey, what were you expecting. He never did with any company madam Rosie knew and still sent us she wanted us gone.

I could feel my heart hurt in different ways that I had never imagine, we had a fucking one night stand, the least he could do was reach out to my fucking company.

I could still remeber last night, it was as clear as day. When we left the club, he took me to the vvip section and that was when I realize he was the owner of the bar, everything happened so fast and I knew I was pressed against the bed and banged so hard by him and after the whole session he offered me money but in my own anger I walked out of the room and called Ava who I told I had sex with someone but the rest of my memories are a bit blurry.

Aria…… Ava voice broke my thoughts and that was when I looked at her.

“Do you remember the day I had that interview with Mr Hale ?

“I do”

Well, I didn’t say it all, during the interview there were a bit of awkward situations between us, he was cold towards me and I still pushed him to the edge. He answered the question and after he didn’t take my hands even when I offered and when I got out of the company he was standing by the glass watching me.

Ava looked at me almost like I had gone nuts. “Why don’t you tell me how the interview is anyway related to whoever you fucked last night?”

I said nothing and suddenly she stopped and looked at me like she was about to go nuts.

No fucking way, no way Aria ,don’t tell me it’s what I’m thinking right now.

Well , that night at the club I saw him again and this time, I don’t know how it all happened but we had sex.

All the anger and confusion in her face were suddenly wiped off and our talk was interrupted when our phones vibrated and it was our boss calling.

By the time we arrived at the company, our boss Rosie was standing at the entrance of the company and for the first time there was this huge smile on her face.

During our conversation we were told to report to work immediately and we both thought it was our work balance but seeing our boss standing made it awkward.

“Aria come with me and Ava resume immidiately”

We both looked at each other and I could see the sweet glances on the face of my fellow employers but I say nothing.

Madam Rosie shuts the doors when we get to her office and turns to the chair and sits down before starting at me “ he called back”

“ who ? I asked, my voice coming out faintly.

Who do you think, she asked ? Mr Hale of course and the best part of it, he wants to work in collaboration with just our publishing firm…

I say nothing but instead I feel that joy of not losing my job, I didn’t want to think that it was my night out with him that made him call back.

This publishing firm has sold half of its shares to Mr Hale and the sales have gone up and now somehow he is our boss and now I think he wants something else .

Something else ? I adked calmly, I could literally hear my heart pounding against my chest.

My boss looked at me like she was about to drop the biggest bombshell. “He wants you to work directly in his company as his personal assistant”.
