Ryan’s POV:

I had never set foot on this island, but the place was fantastic. Despite it being February, the sun shone brilliantly, and it wasn't cold at all. Eve had naturally wrapped herself in a warm scarf, but I didn't hesitate to pull her close to me, adding to her warmth.

As we arrived at the beach on Lido Island, Eve seemed somewhat bewildered.

"What's on your mind, love? Is everything okay?" I inquired with a tinge of concern in my voice.

She gazed around, a hint of confusion in her expression. "Yes, but I expected more tourists."

I couldn't help but chuckle at her words. "You were hoping for more tourists?" I asked, genuinely surprised.

She smiled and explained, "No, that's not what I meant, but with it being carnival time, I expected it to be bustling with people."

"Maybe... just maybe I made it a bit more secluded," I admitted with a grin.

Eve gave me a surprised look and then burst into laughter. "I should have assumed you'd work your magic," she said with a cheerful chuck
