"I should be asking you that." She rolled her eyes and sounded funny because of the brush in her mouth.
"What do you mean by that?" I bumped my brows together in a frown more confused than I was when I woke up in Tristan's room.
"I live here and you ditched me at the party." She folded her arms against her chest. "So if you'd excuse me, I'd like to finish preparing for school."
Just as she turned to leave, I held her arm with glossy eyes. "I'm sorry I ditched you, it wasn't my intention and I so do not know what happened to me because I woke up somewhere strange. I need help and that's why I came here to see my father's new wife."
"Your father?" She frowned and stepped aside. "Come in."
