Amira's P.O.V.

As soon as I got home, I started redesigning the house. I didn't know exactly when Morris would return, so I tried my best to beat the clock and finish up with the decorations before he came home.

Alvera wasn't there to help me, and I needed assistance. I knew I had to ask Michael for help since he was the only one at home

I was already heading out to ask him for help when I saw him enter the sitting room with a box of tools. He assisted me in mounting the curtains and taking care of other tasks, and before the sun set, we were already done.

I felt proud of what we accomplished, convinced that Morris would appreciate it. I went upstairs to take a bath. When I came downstairs, the atmosphere was lively; it was different from how it was before.
