Chapter 8

After I was sure they were safe for the night I recited a barrier spell around their premises to protect them from any demonic forces before I left. My first stop was to see if they were hunting so I went where the prey would be easy. When I got to a local pub I scanned the scene, it was a rather small bar, packed until you can barely move with glammed up young men and women dry humping each other and clenching their alcoholic beverages while one of their friends belted it out on the karaoke machine. I didn't find anything abnormal so I decided to join in on the chaos and sang a heartfelt slow song on the karaoke machine.
