ATHENA’S POV

“Good morning, miss.” Jane greeted as she helped me up.

“Good morning. How much time do I have until the press conference?” I asked, inquisitively.

“About two hours, I think. You’ll need to get ready as soon as you can, so you can join Alpha Jeremy and Octavia for breakfast.” Jane replied politely.

“Uhm… Regarding the breakfast, can I have mine in my room?” I inquired, not interested in being anywhere around Octavia.

“That’s not for me to decide, Miss. You can talk to Alpha Jeremy about it, but I doubt he would listen. I know you might be feeling reluctant to share a meal with Octavia, but you need to act confident, and if you’re trying so much to avoid trouble from Octavia, you can just eat silently while at the table.” Jane advised, and held my hand softly.

“Tha… Thank you.” I appreciated her, and found my way to the bathroom with the help of my cane.
