Chapter 52

Jace's POV

When I didn't answer in my state of vulnerability, the person stepped inside. I heard the sound of a lock clicking in place. Then there was the soft sound of steps moving in my direction.

I felt it all, yet I was too distracted by my pain to react.

I continued to lie there like I wasn't alive— And that person took advantage of my immobility.

They came on top of me, still fully clothed since I couldn't feel the warmth of năked skin against skin. Then I sensed lips— all over my body. They trailed on my neck, my throat, sucking my pulse, my collarbones, my chest, abs, shoulders, cheeks, lips.

They lingered to suck my lips. I felt them nudge my mouth open and shove their tongue inside. I was still very much dead by then too. My body was too numb and broken and rejected. I didn't move at all. Not unless I felt those lips close around my dıck.

The hotness of the hollow mouth made my eyes spring open wide. I flickered my lashes a few times as I realized what just happened, and what was still happening with me. Lifting my head up, I gazed down as a woman with a head full of soft brown curls was busy blowing me.

I knew that dress, and that made me snap, "LIZA!"

She jumped at my yelling, but composed when she noticed me looking at her.

"Relax, it's me. Your exclusive whøre." Filth axe-chopped its way through my being when she tossed me a slûttish grin. Not to mention she used that insulting nıckname I gave her when she was my mïstress.

She went back to suck me. That surged my anger. I grabbed her hair in my first and flung her across the room.

"So my wife was never wrong about you. You were indeed weaving a web of lies to fool me." I said as I got up and wrapped myself with the white sheets.

I had to do it because her eyes were fixated on my long shäft from the moment I stood up.

"Eyes up here, bìtch."

"What, you don't like it?"

I closed the gap between us in three long strides and caught her hair again. I arched her head at a painful angle.

"What I don't like is not believing a word my wife said. She had seen through your drama. She knew what you were up to. That's why she demanded that I throw you out of here."

"Did you?" Liza curled a brow teasingly. "You couldn't, Jace. Because you missed my body as much as I missed yours."

She extended a hand out to touch my abs, "Come on, let's not pretend to be modest now. I know you want me. That insecure wife of yours is gone. Let's jump into that bed behind you and embark on those dirty and wetty sëx journeys we used to embark on before she came."

My lips twisted in disgust. I don't believe that I believed this filthy whøre. Jenna was always warning me about this.

"My půssy is thirsty for your cům, Jace. Come on, fill it with your dıck and cum!" She freed her arm from me given I was too startled to react promptly in time.

Liza had been hiding all this behind that innocent face? It was hard to digest.

"None of the soldiers are good like you. Hell, they're not even a match to your strength. You're really the strongest. They can't rip me apart like you did, Jace. Please, take me to bed. My půssy is craving your thick shäft."

"Even your Beta male is up to no good." She spat distastefully. "I'm glad I rejected him."

"You rejected him?" I stared in horror.

"Yeah, we were fated mates. He was crazy about me. But I was crazy about you." She laughed like a mad person. "So I rejected him to come to you."

"That fool was indeed very helpful, though. He never told you anything about me. But he told everything to your Luna, your temporary Luna." She burst into a peak of mad laughter, her fingers running over my abs.

However, I was not in my senses so I didn't fling her hand away. My mind was occupied by the revelation she just made. Oakley was her mate. He loved her.

No wonder he always warned me about her. No wonder he never fought for her because he was aware she was a wicked slùt. No wonder he moved on so easily although his once fated mate swayed her åss around still.

He didn't want her because he knew who she was— a pure evil bìtch.

I, on the other hand, never cared to analyze anything beyond her body and face.

I felt like a stupid while thinking about it. Just when I came out of my shock, she had to disclose another stupefying truth.

"You want to know why your wife kept feeling insecure? Because every other hour, I used to describe our passionate love making experiences to her on the mind link. I would say it all the time. On the dinner table, in the morning as she got up, while she was feeding your son, when she was bathing, when she was under you during lovemaking... All the time."

"It was my strategy to madden her so much that she would be forced to come and fight with you." She giggled. "She fought many times, and I knew my plan was working. Then I upped my level and started making her see us together."

"I faked my headaches too, Jace. So you would be forced to spend time with me, which you did. Which in turn made your wife feel more insecure. Which then finally did what I wanted— make her leave. Now it's just you and me." She was openly revealing it.

I smiled hotly as I pinched her chin up, "Aren't you afraid for your life? You're confessing everything right in front of me without batting a single lash."

"I'm not insecure like your useless wife, Jace. I trust you. And I know since she's forever gone, you'll need my püssy to bury yourself in. Like you needed it when your first mate left you."

I hung there, stunned. So much so that it gave her the time to get up from the floor. She sat on her knees in front of me and smashed her lips against mine again.

"Let me take care of your dıck, Jace." She said between the kiss as her left hand gilded its way down to my shäft.

Before I could push her away, the door opened. A wave of air rolled inside the room through the door, carrying Jenna's scent. I inhaled it deeply and my body was ablaze with inferno.

My wolf fluttered within me excitedly, like his soul was returned back to him, as he squealed in delight.

'Jace, our mate is back.'

That made me peel Liza off me and rise to my full height.

"Jenna, you were right about her. This bìtch just confessed to..." I drifted off from speaking as I took in the sight of her still face.

Still, but red, teary, and so burdened by pain, she looked like she was forced to walk on shards of glass.

Chapter 58 Jace's POV We were silent for a long time. Neither of us spoke. Suddenly Jenna lifted her face and eyes me innocently."What?" I chuckled. She nodded in no, "You burned Liza alive."My face stilled. I pulled her closer and joined our foreheads, "I had to. She was the bane of our family."I kissed her."Also," I added. "She made me doubt my wife's intentions. I had to punish her."At that, she hugged me tighter and rested her face on my shoulder. She was sitting straddling my waist while I held her like my toddler baby.My back had healed. Hence, I was able to sit this way.The doctors had been worried because the wound wasn't healing in my state of unconsciousness. That's the reason why they refused to give any answer. But the second I woke up, the wound healed, and all the residue of wolfsbane and silver was eliminated by my immune system."What happened to Chris and that lady?" I suddenly asked as I remembered those two."Both dead. And that lady was Doctor Henry's daug

Chapter 57Jenna's POV 'Thanks, bro. Head towards the Rogues' territory with your team. I'll meet you there.''Roger that!''Okay.'We broke the link. I sucked a sharp breath as I focused on the road ahead. If I drive at high speed, I'll get there in twenty minutes.Jenna, hold on for a while, love. Your husband is coming to get you.(Twenty minutes later)"Jace, finally you're here." Oakley came running towards my car as I applied brakes."Did you find her location?" I was not even fully out of the car."Yes, and already stationed our soldiers around the area." Oakley said, sending a wave of relief through me."Thank, goddess.""Don't worry, Jace. The situation is already in our control." Oakley flashed a shark grin and my eyebrows cocked in confusion. "Chris's soldiers look novice. They are not attentive at all, let alone alert.""I think he brought untrained wolves here. And I must add that his Beta and Gamma are not here either."I acknowledged with a nod, "He's probably doing it

Chapter 56Jenna's POV Jace has never touched her before. He hadn't done it this time either. It's that bìtch who always found ways to go near him.'There's no point in giving yourself false hope, Jenna. Jace isn't the man we thought he was. Accept it.' Gianna said.A feeling of disappointment rose over me. No! My wolf is not right here. She's hurt from Jace's wolf's words, and rest is the impact of wolfsbane.Jace loves us.'You really think that? Then tell me, why didn't he come after us when we left?'he He might have a reason.'No,' Gianna grunted weakly. 'It's because he was bewitched by his mistress's beauty and he chose her instead.'That's not true. I was breathless in anger. Gianna's words struck a chord that it shouldn't have.'I'll prove it to you that Jace still only loves us.'Having that said, I lowered my guard. I had blocked out everyone and their feelings to avoid getting caught. However, as I lowered my guard, I could feel my family's emotions— Jace's first. He was

Chapter 55Jenna's POVI regained my senses at the feeling of stabbing spasms stretching throughout my body. My eyelids were heavy and so I couldn't drag them open. But my other senses were working well.I could hear and smell and feel my surroundings. The air was crackling with the chirping of thousands of crickets, meaning that I was most likely in a forest area; or where there were a lot of trees.I dragged in a deep breath to catch scents, and realized that wood was burning somewhere. Then I heard the noise of fire crackling. A bonfire. I subtly rubbed my hand on the ground and sensed the coarse texture. Soil. All the elements directed to one point, I was in a forest. My eyes felt better now. I was about to open them when, "Hadn't she woken up yet?" A familiar voice asked."No, Alpha Chris. After she turned into her human form while fainting, she's been just like that." Someone said,It wasn't Cleo's voice. Hmm. Perhaps Chris flew all the way to Silent Hills city with a small team

Chapter 54Jace's POV "Let this be a lesson to all those who think they can fool the Alpha King just because I trust them." I announced as I paced around with a flaming torch in my hand. Behind me a pyre was built in the middle of the city for people to watch. On it Liza was tied to a pole. She was drenched with petrol and shaking. Her eyes were red. She begged me to let her go, that she was honestly apologetic. That she acknowledged her blunder and would go away. "My trust has never been a weakness. My willingness to believe in those who stand beside me does not make me blind, nor does my kindness make me a fool. I give people my trust because I choose to see the good in them. Because I consider them my previous ones. But the moment that trust is betrayed, do not mistake my silence for ignorance. And don't ever think that you can outsmart me."I came to a halt. The flames were crackling beside my face. It was night now, the sky was dark with no stars. There were light poles around
