Twenty five
After the coronation, Julian was allowed to go to his chamber. He buried his head in his palm, thinking of what to do. Life as a traitor in the territory of demons cannot be easy. And now it's even worse, he is their crowned king. How the hell can he manage to fight his own people and destroy his own territory all alone. He will die. He's sworn an oath by eating the kings food. He has sworn allegiance, he's caged now and nothing can work through him anymore. What the hell was he thinking? Why did he allow that to happen? Well it isn't his fault anyway, It happened so quickly and he had no choice. He scanned around the room, looking disconcerted.
'If only Katrienair was here' he thought. At least, he's back in this evil territory because of her.

Julian walked back into his chamber. He saw that Emiliar was fast asleep on the bed in one of the rooms. He wondered how bold she could be. She still had the heart to sleep in the midst of all these tribulations or maybe she just thinks all was well. Well, you never can tell how faithful witches can be. He stood there staring at her as she was curled like a baby beneath the bedsheets. She seemed like she had high hopes that everything will be alright. She trusted him that he won't give her up or believed that she won't get caught in his chamber. He walked away to the other room and slumped on the bed. Sleep was very far from him. In fact there was no way he could sleep now that Katrienair is not here and wherever she was, she would be suffering. According to Emiliar, she's chained. He can't live with the fact that she's in danger somewhere.

He came again in green light. He came at the right time anyway. Right now I needed someone to be with me and he came. I was still chained and somehow I feel I have been forgotten in this place. No one has come to check on me and this absolute darkness frustrates me the most. My comforter is back for my training. I'm quite happy about it but I wish I knew what I'm being trained for. Maybe he sees the future already, I might be preparing for a war that is beyond me. Why me? "Master" I said as I saw him. He looked indifferent. " The one." He said, his voice echoing in my head." you are not training here today."

Today, it's different. I'm loving this training. I feel very interested now in fighting —maybe it's my purpose. I love this and if love to do it for the rest of my life. And my comforter, I think it's the best for me. He's harsh but it's like that's the only way I can be trained. I'm stubborn —yes and I can't be trained leniently. I love him and I'm proud of myself. I craved to make him proud also. “Katrienair, the training has just began. My reflexes took over. I slowly withdrew the sword from my waist. With a trembling hand, I wound up, closed my eyes, said a word of prayer—I'm giving this my all cause it's all I've got to do to keep if not myself but Luna alive. I took a step forward, and hurled. The sword sailed through the air and hit its mark. A perfect shot. It hit the beast in its eyeball, driving through to its brain. Well, I didn't get what I expected, the beast shriek filled the air. Emiliar curled up on the bed. All the visions of all that has happened during the day kept her eyes open and her brain racing. She thought of katrienair, how weak and pale she looked in those chains but the fact that she's alive gave her a little hope. She felt a sting in her heart as she thought of her welfare. She might still be chained or those people might have taken her away. How did she get there in the first place? Emiliar prayed that all was well with her best friend. I stood outside a multiple story building looking apprehensive. It's a strange building, the highest I've ever seen and it's more strange that I had no idea how I got there. Luna was standing right beside me and I could feel her amusement too. I entered a door and began to climb the stairs. I walked up with lightning speed, surprising myself. I took the steps three at a time, and my legs weren’t even tired. I couldn’t fathom what was happening to my body. Whatever it was, I loved it. I feel more stronger as each moment passed. I stopped at a door, slightly ajar believing that there could be someone in there who would explain to me how I got here and why I'm here. I walked tentatively into the apartment. It was quiet and still, old and dusty—seemed like no mortal has lived in it for decades. I suddenly wheeled, looking all around me, feeling the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I woke up to absolutely blackness. I felt weak, still chained. I was sweating and I felt pain all over my body. That was a whole bulk of my memory I have regained in my dream. It's a dream but I now remember vividly how it happened. I did not appear here chained for nothing. I was brought here by the leader of the gang of three I fought with. Wow, I fought hard but he got me with that handkerchief and now I'm here chained in their territory. Now I know how I got here but why did I have to forget for so long. I looked around the room, it was dark but but I could sense that something was not right about this new day. I tried to remember the last place I was. I was training and had to fight a beast.
