~Dainin~

Dainin tried to break free from the silver chains but his attempts were in vain. The combination of silver, and the wolfsbane they injected into his neck, weakened him to the point he couldn’t even break the wooden chair he was shackled to. His body became soaked in sweat from his efforts, making him feel helpless and pathetic.

“I will rip you apart if you touch a hair on her head,” Dainin threatened, his voice becoming hoarse from all the yelling. He knew he was alone, but he didn’t care. Tessa and his pack were in danger and he was determined not to fail them as he failed his parents.

Knowing they were killed by this monster saddened him, but he offered them shelter and protection.
