I just stared at them from where I was sitting on the bed as Gan-Gan pulled jade into a hug.

“Gram.” Jade said the name with so much love and care.

“Hello sweetheart. It’s so good to see you.” Gan-Gan said to her.

Gan-Gan rubbed Jade’s back as she Jade made a sniffle sound. Gan-Gan put some space between them so she could kneel down and talk to Jade.
