Strange Things And A Weird Dream

When William awoke, he asked sleepily, “Where are Mom and Dad?”

“They've gone to work,” Lawrence said. Then, with a laugh, he added, “She didn't wake you up because you're having a good sleep.”

William sat and leaned against the headboard of his bed, trying to recall what had happened the night before. He hadn't realized he'd been stunned for a couple of minutes. His friend just stared at him, unsure what to say or how to respond in case William ever asked. However, William remained silent after a few minutes.

Lawrence broke the silence saying, “Go downstairs and eat your breakfast. When Auntie left, she had already prepared the food on the table.”
