Accident

"Who are you talking to Sky? Your face is so red.", Mike asker her with concern.

"Oh, it must be Elliot", Lily said carelessly.

Elliot smiled on the other side of the phone, he could imagine her tomato cheeks very well. He didn't want to make things difficult for her at college so he stopped teasing her.

"How's everything going on? Do you have any problem?", he asked with a deep concern.

"No, everything is going great", Sky said in a soft voice.

"That's good", Elliot said with a sigh of relief. He knew the things which haunted her the most, so he was worried about her first day at college. He was relieved now that Sky was doing great.

"Have you had your lunch?", Sky asked thinking about how less he ate during the breakfast because he had to drop her at college on time.

"No, I will eat with you", Elliot said.

"I know you didn't eat as well", Elliot added with a smile, he knew her very well. She was like this since she was a child. She would never eat without him unless something very serious had came up and he had to leave for one or two nights. Even then he tried his best to finish off his work as soon as possible so he could come back at home and eat together with Sky.

Sky had never said it since they grew up, but he himself knew that she won't eat much in his absence.

"Aunt will make pasta for us today", Sky said with an adorable smile.

"Oh, that legendary pasta", Elliot laughed while remembering their first meeting.

"Don't laugh", Sky said with a pout, "It's my favourite dish", she said.

"I know Sky, it's my favourite dish too", Elliot said with a warm smile.

Everyone was staring at Sky, Lily coughed lightly bringing her back to reality.

"I'll talk to you later, I'm in the cafeteria with others", Sky said hurriedly and hang up.

Elliot laughed knowing how nervous Sky would be right know.

'Only If I could see her turning into a tomato right now', he sighed.

Back to the cafeteria.

Mike was uncomfortable when he witnessed how Sky talked to Elliot.

He didn't know what was wrong with him. He got very much irritated.

"I'm sorry, I need to go", he stood up and left.

"Hey Mike! wait for me", Holder, his bestfriend, ran after him.

"Sigh, Holder is gone", Lily said pretending to be sad.

"Stop it Lily", Sky rolled her eyes at her, "you didn't show me the library yet, lets go there", Sky urged her to get and go with her.

"Ugh fine", Lily grunted and stood up.

Sky chuckled at her style.

They picked up their things and left.

They were moving towards the library, completely unaware of the evil eyes staring at them.

"They have gone to the library, this is your only chance Henry, prove your love for me", Arzu said to Henry who was after her for 4 years but she has always gave him a cold shoulder. Today was the first day when she finally gave him some response with a condition to cause trouble for Sky first.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure she won't be able to come at college for some days", Henry said with an evil laugh.

"But you have to be mine after that", Henry looked at her with lustful eyes.

"Sure, if you succeeded in your mission", Arzu said, hiding the disdain in her heart, "go and do your job", she urged him to follow them.

In the library,

Sky was searching for Elliot's favourite book when she heard a strange voice.

She saw the bookshelves moving slighty, before she could react, the shelves with a lot of heavy books, fell on her. She tried to avoid the misfortune but still couldn't save herself

"Ahhhh", she cried in pain.

"Sky!! What happened?", Lily came over hurriedly.

She gasped in horror when she saw Sky under the huge wooden bookshelves with a lot of heavy books.

There was even blood.

"Sky!!! Sky, don't worry, I'l call someone just know", Lily started crying, looking at Sky's situation.

"Lily, I'm ok, don't cry", Sky tried to console her while sweating profusely in pain.

"Sky! how did this happen?", Lily was helpless, she tried her best to move the shelves away but couldn't.

Some people came after hearing Lily's loud screams.

They were stunned when they saw the scene in the library.

A girl was covered in blood under the shelves and the other girl was trying to move the shelves away.

They quickly called the other guys and removed the bookshelves and books from Sky.

Sky had already fainted by that time.

"Call the ambulance, hurry up", Lily urged someone standing there.

"I've already called, they are just coming", the boy said to her.

Lily couldn't understand what to do.

The ambulance came quickly and took Sky away from the College.

Arzu sneered at the college gate looking at the ambulance going away.

'That's what you get if you offend someone you shouldn't', she had an evil smile on her face.

'I hope she gets crippled, then I'll see if Elliot would still stand by her side or not', she laughed thinking about it.

In the hospital,

Sky was in the operation theatre.

Lily was crying badly looking at the red light of operation room and praying for Sky to be alright.

She suddenly realized something.

'Elliot',

'I forgot to inform him',

She quickly took out her phone and called him.

Elliot had just finished another meeting and was sitting in his office room when he heard his phone ringing.

He picked it up and saw Lily's name, he had a bad premonition about it.

He answered the call and heard Lily's sobbing from the other side.

"Lily what happened? Is Sky alright?" Elliot was so nervous when he heard her crying even harden after hearing Sky's name.

"Elliot! Sky!", she couldn't speak.

"Lily! tell me what happened to Sky??", Elliot roared at her. He was becoming impatient.

"She had an accident at college, she's in the operation theater right now", Lily said in a single breath.

Elliot's phone fell to the ground with a loud thud.
