Chapter 22- The traps.
Rebecca was in mom's room so I went into mom's room and told them not to come out after I left.
"Is everything alright?". Mom asked me suspiciously.
This woman only suspects everything I do.
"Everything is fine I just wanted to set up a few things". I replied.
"What few things?".I asked and I sighed.
"Mom just go to bed and don't come out of your room". I half yelled as I walked out of her room and slammed the door shut.
Why must she ask this much questions? Just because she's my mother doesn't mean she had to know about everything I do.
"Jessica! Jessica!". I heard mom call as she walked out of her room and met me in the hallway.
"What are you planning?". Mom asked.
"Nothing bad I just want to put up some stuff for our protection

The shooting continued and then someone started kicking out mom's door and we all had to hold onto the wardrobe so they wouldn't push it away."They are in here!". I heard a man yell as he continued kicking the door and we pushed the door with all our strength."Rebecca come over here and help us". Mom half yelled at Rebecca who was still sitting on the floor cowering in pain.Rebecca seemed to be in a different word as she ignored mom's words and held onto her knees shaking in fear."Rebecca!". Mom yelled at her but she still ignored her,I don't think Rebecca Dan even heard her let alone what was actually happening around her. It seemed as if Rebecca was in a trance and couldn't be woken up.

My mom continued crying and I just watched her cry. I walked into the alley and took out the gun from my backpack,the alley was a bit dark but I saw the two unarmed men that was in the car following me walk into the alley with me and I shook my head at their stupidity, they really no nothing about this place because if they did they won't have come here to meet me. I tilted my head to the side as I raised the gun and shot the first man on his shoulder. "Don't move...hands up". I told the other guy with him who raised his hands. "You too". I pointed the gun at the other guy who I shot and he was reluctant to raise his hand. Am sure someone must have heard the gunshot by now,I just hoped that the police were on the way. Even if I wanted to shoot them I still didn't want the police to pry deeper into my life they might find something I don't want anyone to find.

It felt as if I moved an inch that mom would smack my head because I could see how angry she looked, so I stayed put, not breaking eye contact as I spoke."Am not with any gun".
