Chapter 24- What just happened?
The shooting continued and then someone started kicking out mom's door and we all had to hold onto the wardrobe so they wouldn't push it away.
"They are in here!". I heard a man yell as he continued kicking the door and we pushed the door with all our strength.
"Rebecca come over here and help us". Mom half yelled at Rebecca who was still sitting on the floor cowering in pain.
Rebecca seemed to be in a different word as she ignored mom's words and held onto her knees shaking in fear.
"Rebecca!". Mom yelled at her but she still ignored her,I don't think Rebecca Dan even heard her let alone what was actually happening around her. It seemed as if Rebecca was in a trance and couldn't be woken up.

I walked into the alley and took out the gun from my backpack,the alley was a bit dark but I saw the two unarmed men that was in the car following me walk into the alley with me and I shook my head at their stupidity, they really no nothing about this place because if they did they won't have come here to meet me. I tilted my head to the side as I raised the gun and shot the first man on his shoulder. "Don't move...hands up". I told the other guy with him who raised his hands. "You too". I pointed the gun at the other guy who I shot and he was reluctant to raise his hand. Am sure someone must have heard the gunshot by now,I just hoped that the police were on the way. Even if I wanted to shoot them I still didn't want the police to pry deeper into my life they might find something I don't want anyone to find.

It felt as if I moved an inch that mom would smack my head because I could see how angry she looked, so I stayed put, not breaking eye contact as I spoke."Am not with any gun". I nearly threw up at the sight of a bloody Aunt Laura,her stomach was wide open and I could see the insides of it. I suspected she was cut with a knife.Who could have done such a thing to her? I smiled at my good luck as I dashed towards it and took the shotgun from where it hung on the wall. Aunt Laura must have encountered such events before; if she hung it in her room,I think she was going to get it before they killed her. I think these men knew her well. They had guns but they still used a knife to kill her, what did she really do to them or were they just here for fun? I had an experience with a shotgun from watching videos online, I know it wasn't much of an experience but if you knew me it was enough.
