Chapter 23- The police came to the rescue
I checked the time it was 2: 43 am in the morning. The men actually came and they were early at that,I didn't hear the bell but I definitely heard the scream.
He screamed like a schoolgirl that got her hear broken ,how ridiculous.
I took my baseball bat as I peeked out my door and I saw and I saw flashlights on, I called the police and they were already aware of the situation,good this was why I liked the police in our modern city,they were always fast.
Did mom call them?
I Called mom and she answered in the first ring.
"Am awake". That was the first thing she said.

I walked into the alley and took out the gun from my backpack,the alley was a bit dark but I saw the two unarmed men that was in the car following me walk into the alley with me and I shook my head at their stupidity, they really no nothing about this place because if they did they won't have come here to meet me. I tilted my head to the side as I raised the gun and shot the first man on his shoulder. "Don't move...hands up". I told the other guy with him who raised his hands. "You too". I pointed the gun at the other guy who I shot and he was reluctant to raise his hand. Am sure someone must have heard the gunshot by now,I just hoped that the police were on the way. Even if I wanted to shoot them I still didn't want the police to pry deeper into my life they might find something I don't want anyone to find.
