Lahat ng Kabanata ng Iris: The Mafia’s Bride : Kabanata 11 - Kabanata 20

Iris POV Slowly but steadily I began to regain my consciousness, it was a gradual process but eventually I was becoming aware of myself again the first thing I felt was the ache around my entire body and this time I only had to search for my sight for a couple of seconds before the memory that I could no longer see came back again crossing my heart wickedly like a sharp knife. I had lived my entire life being able to see colors and the world around me and all of a sudden that ability was snuffed away. I was still getting used to it, but maybe I will never really get used to it but just come to a forceful acceptance that it was gone forever. Soon I remembered that my entire body aches and I couldn't even move a single inch because of how much it hurts. How long had that flight of stairs been? I couldn't see but I felt like I had fallen quite a lot. Maybe I should cry out for help? even my voice just cracked before I could speak and so I just lay there maybe it was better this wa

Iris POV After that accident when I was almost killed by one of his former business partners, Arthur did not want me to be leaving the room and he had some bodyguards around me from time to time in case I wanted to go outside. I felt incredibly suffocated I always knew that I was being watched by his men I could feel it even though I could not to look back and there and return their intense gaze is what it felt like it was burning the side of my body that they were looking at and it was always something that they never stop doing as if it was a daily routine that the plan for before they will even wake up at all. He was mostly being cold and distant as he always was before and after the incidents that happened with him wanting me to be desperately hateful of him I decided to keep my distance. I was wondering how long he was going to continue this routine of him ignoring me while keeping his men to watch me 24/7 and then it was finally over. He stepped into my room one day without

Arthur POVOh, no she's hot.I had been subconsciously battling with my attraction to this person from the moment that she was dragged out of that burning edifice and when I first saw her looking all dolled up I was almost ready to lose that battle immediately if it wasn't for the fact that someone else was in the bedroom with us. That didn't mean that I was forcefully going to have my way with her, from what I have seen, I will just have to sway her with my charm and then.. I almost gave myself a heavy slap across the face as these thoughts began to run through my mind and at the same time I was keeping a poker expression trying to ignore her so badly by focusing on the makeup artist who was not helping the situation by constantly referring to her again. That was because I wanted to remain in the embrace of denial as long as possible because I couldn't imagine myself being attracted to the spawn of Sebastian Scott I felt like I was betrayed my parents for even being attracted t

Iris POV I really have to stay on my toes when it comes to this man. One second I was complaining at the top of my voice and then the next his lips were embracing mine, and I wasn’t stopping him.Despite knowing he was toying with my feelings I deepened the kiss holding his face this time to around. He was fierce and intense with passion as if he had wanted to do this for so long and my body was responding to his every touch. His hands roamed around my body reaching my boobs and squeezing it making me moan in pleasure.Just when I thought we were going deeper he pulled away I was breathless. For a moment I could not even remember what I had been doing before that and when I finally did and realized how quickly I had shut up my face went red with embarrassment. This was our second kiss and it was better than the first.I tried imagining what he would be thinking but knowing Arthur, he wouldn’t say anything about the kiss. I found my fingers running through my messed up hair, a feelin

Iris POV A day had already passed, and the awareness that Arthur's business trip was getting closer. Even though I was scared of the man, he was still the most familiar person in my life right now. My heart thumped regarding the incident when his former business partner almost ended my life. I was scared that something would happen again but the problem was that he wouldn't be around to defend me. But he wasn't bothered at all and I didn't want to look so dependent on him,so I rolled heavily from one side of my bed to another. Most of the time I was still sleeping or lounging around in my bed, with nothing at all today so many things that I used to enjoy before in the past were impossible because now I could no longer see.I was wondering how people in my condition had fun, maybe because I was only focusing on the negative in my life perhaps there was so much more that I had not allowed myself to this cover these thoughts were keeping me up on my bed rolling over and over aga
