Chapter One Anastasia's Pov. Gulping down all the content that was in the glass cup I aggressively placed the cup on the bar table as I waved my hands at the barman. "Ahhh finally!" I heaved a deep sigh of relief immediately I came out of the club. It was really hard to pull through the crowd. I couldn't go home this way to be nagged by some stupid overprotective, and over-religious parents. I decided I was going to sleep at the hotel, and just lie to them I was at a friend's place. I staggered to where my room was with blurry eyes. I couldn't find my card so I kept on hitting the door to the room and suddenly it opened. My hand stopped moving and it was held in the air, I could feel a very strong grip on my wrist. "Did someone enter my room?" I asked myself as I slowly looked up and I saw a very huge figure standing at my front. It was a human but he looked so huge. I was lost in his grey eyes as he couldn't stop staring at me. I was not that drunk, and I knew I was seeing a hu

Chapter Three. Tristan's Point Of View. It has been Six years, but I haven't forgotten about the girl that I slept with that night. I have been living for the past 32 years, but I haven't come across anyone like her. I was hoping to see her again after that night, I went to the club for the next three months hoping I could find her with her scent, but I couldn't. If we were destined to be I'm going to see her again. I don't know the time and the period. "What are you thinking about? I've been calling you but you look so lost?" I heard Penelope's voice which jolted me out of my thoughts immediately. "Uhm nothing." I lied to her. "Don't tell me you are still thinking about that girl." She asked giving me that bombastic side-eye. Yeah yeah, she caught me already. "What if I tell you that she is still the one in my mind," I told her as she rolled her eyes and walked towards me. "You are one of the strongest Alpha in the world and you can't resist a human girl? Even some Alpha rej

Chapter Five. Anastasia's Pov. Who is the father of your child?" He asked me on my way out of the office. Why would he ask such personal questions, I turned back at him. I felt he was joking at first, but he looked so serious. Should I tell him the truth or I should just lie to him and go? Or I shouldn't reply to him at all? Will I lose my job if I do not tell him the truth? "Sir, I don't think I should be asked that question. I came here to work. Asking such questions might be an invasion of my privacy." I blurted out forgetting he was the one employing me. After all the questions I asked myself, I still ended up saying what I was not supposed to say. "I'm so sorry if I had said what I am not supposed to." I apologized immediately I realized I said. "It's okay, I guess I was the one who made a mistake. You can get going now." Tristan apologized to me the focusing on what he was working on. I hurriedly walked out of the room with my face all red. I took a huge sigh of relief r

Chapter Seven. Anastasia's POV. "What's happening? Why are you here? Why are you panicking?" Cassie questioned me immediately after she saw me panicking. I pointed to his office, trying to talk. I didn't even know how I was going to construct the statement. Furthermore, I didn't know if I poisoned him or something else. People might think I poisoned him when I didn't even do anything. "I think I poisoned Tristan, he is currently dying. I don't know what I did wrong... I, uh, I have him a coffee, and then he is groaning in pain currently...I...I...I think it must have been from where I got it from." I stuttered. Not only that, but I could see her standing up "You did what?" Cassie asked in shock, dropping the pen that was in her hands. It was then that I heard the slamming of the door, it turned out that Penelope had already rushed inside his office "On your first day?" Cassie stood up and hurriedly walked into the room. I just stood out, wondering what was going to happen to me

Chapter Nine. Anastasia's POV. I helped him with his tie, and it was then our eyes met. We maintained eye contact for a little time. I'm awful when it comes to maintaining eye contact. There is no way I would stop staring at him! I am not accepting defeat. His stares were beginning to get so intense. I just stood there and kept staring at him. I am sure he could see how my eyes were filled with admiration. I wouldn't stop admiring his eyes, like I have always done for my daughter. I blinked my eyes and looked down. He won, and I am going to challenge him another day. I don't know why I am terrible at maintaining eye contact. Is it really that bad? Is this some sort of staring competition? I can't believe he won instead. It wasn't my fault, though, his glare was so intense filled without any emotion. "This looks good." I broke the silence, then we both walked out of the room, while I followed him like a bodyguard at his back. He didn't even say, "Thank you." "Why would he s
