Lahat ng Kabanata ng ALPHA'S TRUE LUNA: Once Forbidden-Now Accepted.: Kabanata 21 - Kabanata 30

Kayla's POV."Get off my car!!!" he commanded with a deep voice, his sudden words instantly pulling me off track, the authoritative tone echoing in the air."What!?" I exclaimed in disbelief, my eyes widening in confusion. For a moment, I couldn't believe that I had entertained the idea of falling for him, and the shock lingered in the air."You heard me correctly, Kayla... get off my car or do you wish to go home with me when you've gotten to yours?" His question caught me off guard, and in that instant, I turned around to peer through the window, contemplating my response."Shit!" I bit my lower lip and it was then I realised that I had actually gotten home. At first, I was thinking that Alpha Reynolds was pushing me out of his car just because I asked about his business. On second thought, it became clear that he simply wanted me off his car so he could head home. Just then, he leaned in closer and opened the car door without hesitation. Seating himself on the seat, he refrained

Reynolds' POV. Getting back into the room after the Doctor had called on me, I just couldn't help but notice the sudden tension that surrounded Kayla and Ava. Kayla tried her best to smile, she tried her best to look okay but it was obvious that she wasn't happy staying closer to Ava. "I'm sorry I kept you two waiting… so I'll go straight to my reason for bringing you here!" I declared, trying to fasten the pace of what I was about to say to both of them. "I didn't get to introduce you two at first but here it is…" I paused, turning to look at Kayla briefly before I veered back to glance at Ava. Ava still had a furious glare fixed on Kayla and although I wasn't sure why, I was certain to get to the bottom of it all. Although Kayla wasn't aware of my plans and tricks, she still tried to act all good and nice, making it difficult for me to discern if they were truly enemies or not. I had to make this move because the last time Ava met with Kayla at the office, it was nothing but

Reynolds' POV."It's quite late, and I'd prefer to take you home," I suggested. In that instant, her gaze abruptly shifted toward me, her eyes widening in a mix of shock and surprise, as if the notion had caught her off guard."I... I just..." she stammered, briefly biting her lower lip, and after a moment, she finally gathered herself and asserted."I don't believe it's the right thing to do, Alpha Reynolds! You have a Luna, and I'm merely your assistant. Being seen together consistently will undoubtedly raise questions!" She expressed her concerns, but I remained steadfast, unwilling to back down. The determination in my eyes mirrored my conviction as I prepared to address her reservations."I don't mind, Kayla. It's simply a gesture of kindness, just dropping you off," I tried to explain, hoping to ease her reservations. However, she remained steadfast, unwilling to join me despite my efforts to clarify her thoughts.Observing others emerging from the hall, she took a deliberate

Kayla's POV."Kayla, you should..." Alpha Reynolds was going to say, but instantly, my instincts kicked in, and I found myself reacting swiftly to his words."I think I'll be on my way now! Thank you so much for the ride, Alpha!" I bowed my head immediately, and turning around, I opened the door and ran out of the car before he could utter another word to me.I noticed he climbed out of his car to chase after me, but I was already far gone before he could stop me. I burst into the house, and instantly, darkness engulfed me instantly. Slamming the door shut, I leaned against it, my chest rising and falling as I struggled to catch my breath. A mix of shock and amazement filled me, leaving me on the edge of anticipation for what had just transpired."What just happened?" My eyes bulged out as I tried to get a hold of myself. I was still in a state of self-reflection when, unexpectedly, the lights came on and his voice followed. "What are you doing?""Ahhh!" With a sudden jolt, I let o

Kayla's POV."Where else, Kayla? I am taking you to the hospital! I can't stand the thought of my assistant being down with a fever!" He asserted possessively as his grip on my hand tightened, making me get so stunned for a split second. If there was anything I was expecting, it definitely wasn't the scene of Alpha Reynolds storming into my office to drag me out of it like he owned me.Like Ava never existed and that we've been in love for a long time now.Without a second glance at me, he turned his stare towards the exit of the office, and instantly, he dragged me out of the office. As we headed for the exit of the company, I couldn't help but get so embarrassed and silently bullied too at the judgmental sight of everyone that saw Alpha Reynolds holding my hand.I swallowed anxiously as I stared back at them, but not for too long because, trust me, it was horrifying and scary. It felt as though I had claimed their Alpha to myself, and they weren't going to get him from me anymore w
