"Janice, please, I'm begging you, please bear a child for me! Drake said that he'll divorce me if I don't give him a son, but you know that I've been diagnosed with infertility! If you don't help me, then no one else will!"Lesley Hummer, my sister-in-law, was kneeling on the ground, as she tugged on my hands and begged with tears in her eyes."Janice, just help your sister-in-law out! She's been so nice to you, so this is the least you could do for her. You can't watch her being abandoned by her husband like that!"If you'll help her give birth to a child, I'll even serve you for the rest of my life!" Willow Barkins, my mother-in-law, chimed in as she walked toward me with a pleading expression on her face."Jan, even my mom's asking you for this favor. Can't you help my little sister out?" Gary Hummer, my husband, said. "Also, it's not like giving birth is a huge deal anyway. Women are meant to give birth. That's why they exist."I couldn't believe that my own husband would say

Dinner was served, and I was invited to take a seat at the head of the table. It felt as though the events from my past life were happening all over again in the same way. I had always been invited to the head of the table last time, but then, I had fallen straight into their trap. This time, I wasn't going to let them do whatever they wanted with me anymore.I looked around at their ugly faces at the table and chuckled internally in a cold manner. I knew that the show was just about to start. As expected, Gary was the first one to open his filthy mouth."So, have you thought about it? It's just giving birth to a baby. It's an easy thing to do. Why are you taking so long to think about it?"If you don't agree to it, I won't let you off easy. This is a warning!"Gary glared at me with a menacing look, as if he would slap me across the floor if I dared to reject him.Drake shook his hand and interrupted Gary. Then, he smiled softly as he looked at me through his glasses, "Janice,

Eventually, the noises outside the door began to die down. It was only then that I opened the bathroom door and went out.All four of them—Gary, Drake, Lesley, and Willow—were sprawled out on the table haphazardly as they muttered nonsense under their breaths.I lowered my head to check on the time on my watch. The drug was going to make them go all crazy in just half an hour's time.Lesley kept chuckling like an idiot, muttering under her breath that she was going to make me give birth to a child for her and other nonsense. Meanwhile, Gary kept repeating that the child I bore them was going to be their cash cow very soon.Willow's body was a little crooked, as she was fast asleep and snoring without a care in the world. Suddenly, she lost her balance and fell to the ground where she continued snoring away.I didn't want to continue looking at them anymore. I hurried back into my room, grabbed my overnight bag, and left the house.I didn't care about what was going to happen toni

I caught a cab and went to Penny's office as quickly as possible. Penny immediately hurried toward me when she saw me."You're finally here, Jan. I thought you'd miss the best parts of the show!""What show are we talking about?" I asked in confusion."Look! Recognize those people?" Penny asked, pulling me downstairs and pointing at a distance.I looked over and saw Lesley tugging at Drake's hand. Her face was flooded with tears as she begged him not to leave."Drakey, look at this! It's my pregnancy report. I'm pregnant!"Lesley waved the document in the air anxiously to catch Drake's attention, but he slapped it to the ground in frustration."W-What are you doing? I'm pregnant with your baby!" Lesley exclaimed, staring at Drake in disbelief. Her lips trembled as she looked at him pitifully."Don't you dare say that it's my baby just because you're pregnant! Do you have proof?" Drake yelled, glaring at her with a cruel expression.I couldn't help chuckling coldly as I watched
