My instincts told me outrunning the truck wouldn’t be possible so I stopped walking, then a man came out of the car. He was a tall, rugged man with black hair and red eyes, the telltale sign of a member of the Blood Fang pack, he wore a black tank top that exposed his sleeve tattoos- one arm had a wolf curling around his bicep while the other arm had thorns with a single flower that disappeared into his shoulder.“You going somewhere little one?” His voice was deep and could only be what I could call scary.“Not really,” I responded, swallowing heavily, trying to hide the fear from my voice.“I can smell the fear on you, kid. I entered the bathroom that was barely big enough to fit two people. I began to take off my clothes, being mindful of my wounds. I removed my jacket, then the blood-stained shirt, ignoring the stinging pain in my back as I removed them. TI took off my pants and got under the shower. I gritted my teeth, letting out a small yelp as the water met my back. Done, I grabbed a towel and carefully wrapped it around myself. Back in the room, I grabbed my bag, looking for herbs I could use to make a paste for my wounds.At that moment, Angelica entered the room. She must have left while I was in the bathroom. She nodded her head at me, then went into the bathroom.
