Drake stirred in his cave, his immense silhouette framed against the fiery hues of the setting sun. His onyx-black scales shimmered faintly, as though embers smoldered beneath them.Though his breathing was slow and steady, his molten gold eyes betrayed the storm churning within.A deep growl rumbled from his chest, resonating through the stone around him. "Come on, it's going to be fun!" A girl giggled, tugging at her spouse's arm. He sighed, following her gestures. "Are you sure about this? This place is a bit...too much."She wrapped her hands around his neck, placing a kiss on his lips. "I know, but we're just going to act like it's the two of us there and no one else got it." She smiled as he nodded. "Besides, the music there is good. I heard the harpist is a witch who makes people fall in love with her music.""But I already love you."She chuckled. "And who the hell said we can't love each other more?" With those words, she opened the door and pulled him in.The tavern brimmed with warmth and life, firelight flickering across the walls as laughter mingled with the clink of mugs. In the corner, a veiled harpist sat quietly, her fingers gliding over the strings. The haunting melody wove through the noise, moans, softening conversations, and drawing curious glances.Near the hearth, a young couple leaned close, their voices low.

Xavier was confused. He turned around, but couldn't find the woman who was with him in the room."That bitch," He murmured, putting his length back in. Drake stared at Elaina for the longest of time, his eyes held confusion and irritation. He couldn't… or rather didn't want to believe a word that came out of her mouth. Humans were all the same to him; treacherous, especially the women. “You should paint a picture, it would last longer” Elaina commented with an eye roll. Since she proposed to help him escape, he had gone quiet and strangely stared at her. She was beginning to think that she was talking to an airhead. Drake scoffed “You want to help me escape? Elaina left Xavier's meeting with a hopeful but anxious heart.
