Her Eyes of Emerald and Fire의 모든 챕터: 챕터 261 - 챕터 270

Ash nods and grabs the chair, pushing Kai to sit which he does. Ash stands behind it, gripping the back of it hard. “I’ll skip over the majority of my story as that can wait. Up until four weeks ago I was trapped in a large glass jar of sorts in Emmaline’s basement. Then Noemi visits her with Seth. She brings them down to the basement to show me off.” Merlin sighs,“Moonbeam.” She pats the bed beside her, but swats his arm away when he tries to hug her to his side,“Hush up, North Star. I’m talking.”  He smirks and nods, “He’d come to Noemi with a plan of sorts, to replace her with someone under a glamour. Noemi had brought him to Emmaline to discuss the possibilities. Emmaline was only too glad to show me off, her pet doppelganger. She could produce a perfect copy with the blood she’d taken from her before. Seth volunteered his blood to help produce the children, so they’d look enough l

Claire takes Merlin’s hands and walks him to the bed, and sits on the edge. He sits facing her, with one leg curled up on the bed and one on the floor.“I have laid with other men.” He nods, but looks confused, “How are you okay with that?” He rests a hand on her cheek, giving her a warm smile,“Did you choose to do so of your own free will?” She tilts her head, half nodding. “To protect yourself from the magic that would have brought you unimaginable pain had you not?” She closes her eyes and nods properly this time, “Then it’s hardly cheating, Moonbeam. Are you mine?” She nods, her eyes still closed and tears falling, “Look at me.” She opens her eyes, and he smiles at her, “Are you mine?” She sniffs and nods,“Yes, I am yours, I have always been yours, I will always be yours. As much as I know that you are mine, My North Star.” He adjusts the medallion o

They had gone back to the room, unsure what else to do. Ash had started gathering all the clothes and things that could be washed and started the laundry. Kai went to the bedroom and stripped the bed, unsure if they should replace the mattress or not. But he’d leave that for now. They could sleep in the lounge for now. It felt wrong to sleep in the bed now. He piles the bedding by the washing machine along with everything else.Ash was gathering everything she could have touched and washing it. Binning a few items that would be easier to replace. Kai grabs a multi surface cleanser and several cloths and starts making his way around their home. The sooner this is done, the better. A few minutes later Charlie and Serena come up, Ash lets them in and backs away from the door without a word to continue cleaning.Kai nods as Serena and Charlie grab their own cleaning supplies and make their way to the bedroom and bathroom respectively. He isn’t sure how he would

Serena huffs as she returns with a backpack slung over one shoulder,“No one is going to die. I refuse to let that happen.” She smirks, “Besides, she’d kill us all if any one of us died.” Ash chuckles and nods. She kneels on the other side of the coffee table and starts laying out locks and shackles. Then a small leather bundle. That she lays to one side, and spreads her hands out on the table. “This is my shit. The thing I’m really fucking good at, besides medicine.”Kai nods and leans forward to listen closely. She begins by explaining the tools and how the process works then slowly undoes one padlock, doing it up again and muddling the picks she’d used into the pile of other picks on the table. She holds it out,“Who’s first?” Ash takes the lock, and she nods. “Don’t worry if it takes a moment to get used to. With enough practise it becomes second nature to look at a lock and

Ash’s dreams are unnerving, nightmarish visions of the children dissolving into floating orbs. Eliza’s feature morphing into someone else, and then on into monsters. The ground falls out from under him and he sees Eliza at the bottom, reaching for him. He cries out for her and then he’s standing next to her in a warm room, a library of sorts. But he only sees her.“Eliza?” She nods and he grips her to him tightly, sobbing. “This is another dream.” She pushes him back to cup his face.“I know, but it’s the best we can do.” He frowns,“We?” He looks around and sees Morpheus, who waves at him. Ash nods then looks back at Eliza, who sighs,“I’ve been waiting here for you to fall asleep.” She sighs and takes his hand; he cups her face with his other hand. “I’m assuming Kai will sleep soon?” He shrugs, and she nods. “Okay, then you need to listen wh
