Eliza strips and washes her bra and pants in the sink with some soap then hangs them on the radiator to dry. She has a quick shower, desperately trying not to think about the man outside her door as she cleans herself. Once she’s done, she dries herself quickly and throws on the oversized jumper and leggings, unwilling to be naked for any longer than necessary. She goes back into the bedroom and searches the various cupboards as quietly as she can.She finds a handbag, it’s not huge but it has enough room for her to put the pen, torch, tissues and paperclips.
