POV: Ayden I don’t know why, but the need to see her hit me like a wave. One second I was pacing my room, the next I was grabbing my keys. I had to get out of that house. Out from under my father’s anger and disappointment. I drove fast, weaving through the evening traffic without really seeing it. My mind was a storm of bad thoughts, my dad’s red face, the shattered camera, the endless loop of that stupid video, and always, always, the name Emily.
