Jane's POV I heard the sound of quiet sobbing the moment I opened the door.It was Hannah who sat on the couch as she sobbed burying her face in her hands. Her shoulders were trembling as if the world had collapsed on them.“Hannah?” I asked gently as I tightened my hands on her. “Oh my God, what happened?”She looked up at me with swollen eyes and her mascara that was now rolling down her cheeks mixed with tears. She tried to speak but her voice started cracking but instead of words more tears started coming out. I held her tightly as I wrapped my arms around her. “Hey, it is okay. Just breathe okay.” It took her about a minute or two before the words finally came out from her mouth with a trembling whisper.“It is him, it's Kelvin.” Kelvin was her boyfriend, they have been together for a long time. Hannah turned down mady guys just because of him. “I went to see him,” she said as she was sniffing. “I just wanted to surprise him… before our trip.” I felt my chest become tight.

Jane's POV Someone tapped me softly on my shoulder as it now drew me out of my sleep.“Jane, dear…” My mother's voice now came as it was sounding low and tired but it was having the same gentleness as always even when I am deeply exhausted.My eyes came open. Jane's POV Morning was coming in in a soft way from the light curtains. I was barely able to sleep. My mind was restless throughout the night.The faint sound of plates that came from the kitchen told me that my mum was already awake. I sat up in a slow way as I was now rubbing my tires eyes than I looked at my Dad. He was still sleeping, his breathing was shallow but it was steady.
