บททั้งหมดของ He Wants Me Back, but I'm Mrs. CEO Now: บทที่ 1 - บทที่ 9

I've been married to billionaire CEO Christopher Hayes for two years, and only now does my ex, Benjamin Clarke, decide to propose. The rumble of engines echoes as a fleet of black trucks lines up neatly outside my private estate. The drivers unload box after box of gifts—luxury watches, fine jewelry, couture gowns, and even a grand piano.Standing proudly among the shower of rose petals, he announces, "Sienna, I told you—the only reason I had a child with my sister-in-law was because my older brother died in an accident, and she wanted to keep our family's bloodline alive. "The baby just turned a month old. I've fulfilled my promise to her, and now I've come to marry you!"I lounge in the heated pool, having just finished my postpartum recovery exercises, and I can't even be bothered to look at him. He knits his brows, and his tone turns patronizing. "I know you're upset, but you're the heiress of the Grant family; you have everything you could ever want! Why can't you show a little

For a moment, Christopher's flushed face flashed through my mind. I was about to crouch down to pick up the scattered gems when a hand clamped around my wrist like a steel vise. It was Benjamin's.His eyes were dark and menacing. "So this thing matters that much to you, huh? Tell me, which bastard gave it to you?"Before I could answer, Olivia gently tugged at his sleeve. "I'm sure Sienna isn't such a promiscuous woman, Benjamin. Perhaps she bought it herself?" She deliberately raised her voice so that everyone around us could hear her every word. "Did you hear that? Benjamin, the CEO of Clarke Group, caught his fiancee cheating.""He tried to reason with her, but she didn't even care. How shameless!""If my wife ever did something like that, I'd cut her off right away!"Olivia clicked her tongue sympathetically and pretended to be concerned. However, her voice rose an octave. "You should explain yourself, Sienna! People will think you're a slut if you sleep around before you'

Christopher froze when he heard what I said. I clutched the hem of my shirt nervously. I didn't dare to meet his eyes as guilt welled up inside me. Those earrings meant a great deal to him. They were made from rare starlight sapphires mined exclusively from Hayes Group's private vein, and he had personally engraved them. He once told me they weren't just earrings but a promise that belonged to me alone. However, in the very next second, Christopher chuckled. He reached out and wrapped my cold hands in his warm palms before gently rubbing them. "And here I thought something serious had happened." His voice was low, gentle, and comforting. "It's just a pair of earrings, you silly girl. What matters is that you're safe."He led me to the couch in the living room and poured me a cup of warm milk. "My assistant has filled me in on what happened." He took a seat beside me, and his calm gaze rested on me. "You've been through so much. Don't worry, I won't let this slide. How dare he i

Noticing the last sliver of hope in Benjamin's eyes, I shook my head. I looked at him the way one would look at a fool. "Threatened? Have you been living in your fantasy for so long that you can't tell what's real anymore, Benjamin?"My words hit him like a bucket of cold water, putting out the last bit of light in his eyes."It was over between us when you chose Olivia two years ago." I paused before turning to Christopher and lacing my fingers firmly with his. That was all it took to crush whatever illusion Benjamin was still clinging to. The madness and obsession on his face faded away. His shoulders sagged as if all his strength had been drained from him, and the light in his eyes completely went out.Just then, Christopher's assistant handed him a document. Christopher took a look at it before tossing it at Benjamin's feet. "I think you should take a look at this."Benjamin stared blankly at it for a moment before bending down to pick it up. It was a paternity test for him

Sienna's POVA year later, the whole scandal between Benjamin and Olivia had long become a thing of the past, forgotten by most. Every now and then, I'd still hear bits and pieces about them through casual conversations with my friends. Olivia had been charged with fraud after Benjamin took her to court. In the end, as she was unable to pay the enormous compensation ordered by the court, she was sentenced to prison, and her child was placed in an orphanage. Years later, someone claimed they'd seen a woman who looked just like her in the rundown red-light district on the west side of the city. After Benjamin and Olivia's scandal came to light, Clarke Group's stock prices plummeted, pushing the already struggling company even closer to collapse. Christopher didn't let him catch a break. He seized control of Clarke Group in just a month. And just like that, the once-powerful Clarke family vanished from the business world for good. I later heard that Benjamin had become a deliver
