After his parents and his girlfriend died in a car accident, Rio Dasilva decided to go live with his old uncle in a small town far away from his tragic memories. A year later the pain is still unbearable but he has learned to cope with it until one day... a new student arrives at school and to his surprise it's none other than the sister of the murderer who took the life of his parents and girlfriend. Her brother never went to prison for the crime he committed because their family is rich and powerful. All the rage that Rio has kept bottled up inside of him resurfaces the moment his eyes meet hers. Her name is Noralyn Chase. She belongs to that horrible family. Just like the rest of them she deserves to burn in hell.

Only in the first 3 chapters and I'm already hooked in the story! Also, you have a very effective way of using POVs ... I can't help but become them when I read haha.

Chapter 1
POV RioOne thing that I hate about school is the monotony. I hate being in places where nothing happens. I need action to survive, either the bass of music resonating in my ears, loud enough to burst my hearing or the wild scream of a frantic crowd when two opponents are inside the arena, their fists about to collide with each other's face.  I have a fight scheduled for tonight.  Davis promised me a beautiful amount if I win but he knows very well that I never do it for the money. I just can't  go long enough without punching  someone or I'll go mad.  "Are you with us Mr. Dasilva?" The math teacher is looking at me behind his glasses with a look of disapproval on his face.  Another thing I hate about school is annoying teachers like this one who always think that students who don't interact in their class are either dumb or troublemakers.  "Yeah," I answer without bothering to look

Chapter 2
POV NoralynAs soon as the bell rings I gather my things to go but the math teacher calls out my name as I'm getting closer to the door."Ms Chase can you come for a moment?"I stop and take a deep breath. I really don't want to spend a second more in this class but I know that the teacher only wants to make sure that I'm okay so I put on a fake smile and walk toward his desk."I'm sorry about what happened earlier," the teacher says. "I promise you this won't go unpunished. ""I'm fine, really." I've gotten ver

Chapter 3
POV RioWhen I arrive at the bar there are only a few clients present.  But I know that there's always a crowd craving flesh blood in the arena below. I go straight to the counter. Spencer is pouring a shot to another customer who's sitting on a stool. As soon as he notices me approaching the expression on his face changes. He never approves when I come around here. His allure is quite intimidating with his full sleeve tattoos on both arms and his side swept undercut that accentuates his severe expression. There’s a cross earring dangling on his left earlobe."Hey, is Davis down there?" I ask when I reach him.

Chapter 4
POV RioI'm leaning against my bike, smoking when Davis walks up to me. Even if he's four years older than Spencer, he looks as young as his boyfriend. After his father suddenly died of cardiac arrest he took over the bar. "You got another one?" Davis asks when he gets close to me and I hand him out another cigarette. We continue smoking quietly. I know Davis is here for a reason and I'm waiting for his interrogation but when he finally speaks, something unexpected comes out of his mouth."I think I'm gonna propose to Spencer."

Chapter 5
POV Noralyn I should have never come. I walk out of the warehouse, my heart beating fast in my chest as if it could sense the danger following, I know that this night is gonna be one where my nightmares come back again to haunt me. I might still be powerless against my demons, however those four jerks that are following me I can handle them. I pretend not to notice that they are after me and engage in a dark alley that has no exit then when I turn around to retrace my steps, there they are waiting for me.“I told you we’d meet again soon, didn’t I?” The tallest of them walks forward leaving his friends behind. He probably thinks that his big muscles are enough to intimidate me.“And I told you that this second encounter wouldn’t go well for you.”

Chapter 6
POV NoralynI’m looking out of the passenger window but I see nothing of the surroundings. My mind is lost in a jungle of desperate thoughts. What I feared the most happened. For weeks after I had broken up with Keelan I kept feeling anxious that the fact that I broke up with him affects his mental health. He used to call me non stop until I told him firmly to stop doing it. Eventually I didn't hear from him anymore and now one year later….When we started dating it felt like we were two puzzles that complemented each other. Keelan needed someone who would accept him for who he was and I needed someone who could understand what was going on my head, who wouldn’t pressure me to always talk about my bad thoughts, who knew what having a bad day meant, and who could deal with the fact that I would

Chapter 7
POV Noralyn Hospital food tastes horrible. I barely take two bites before I put my fork down and push my plate aside. Kline and I are in the cafeteria, we decided to grab a bite before we hit the road again since our lunch was interrupted back at school. My mother has already called me and to say that she wasn’t happy that I’m out of town would be a euphemism. “How did it go?” Kline asks with concern in his voice.“Well, it could have been worse. I yelled at him and he asked me to leave but I sat there and refused to go.”That makes Kline smile. “Ouh, a little stubborn aren’t we?”“You could say that. We ended up talking for a while. Not heavy stuff thoug

Chapter 8
POV Rio Camilla and I met when I was at the lowest point of my existence. If you've never experienced falling into a dark void and being powerless against the gravity that pulls you to the ground, then you probably won't understand what I went through. Before fate finally brought  Camilla into my life a lot of girls came and went away. Sadly, in all the relationships that I had before I met Camilla, I always managed to give more than I ever received. Maybe this is what changed me or maybe it was bound to happen that I became a player anyway. I stopped caring about labels, "relationship, girlfriend, couple" and made sure that everyone I would get involved with understood that there would never be anyt

Chapter 9
POV Noralyn When I wake up my heart is beating wildly inside my chest and I'm all sweaty. There's a strange noise coming from outside, like a repeated pounding and for a moment I think that I'm hallucinating or that it's simply the sound of my beating heart that has been magnified in my panic, until I realize that in fact there's someone knocking at my door. I stand like a robot, still not totally woken up from the nightmare I just had and open the door. Rio is standing in front of me, a strange expression on his face and I cannot for the life of me figure out what he's doing at my house at 3AM. Suddenly I remember that we're at a motel. "You were screaming," Rio says and his eyes look behind me as if he's searching for something inside the room."It's nothing, I just had a nightmare."I cross my arms in front of me and lower my head because I start feeling naked that he's able to see how terrified

Chapter 10
POV RioThe two bodyguards standing in front of Davis's office don't say anything to me when I approach the door and knock. I don't wait for him to tell me to come in and simply go inside. He's talking on the phone when I come inside and gestures with his fingers for me to wait one minute.  I sit in front of his desk and patiently wait. I know very well that nothing about my expression indicates that I've come here to have a friendly conversation and Davis must be able to see it on my face. When he finally  hangs up the phone he looks at me with such a fake smile that I want to puke. "Rio my man! Glad you came back safe and sound."
