I really struggle with rating this story. The smut is hot, but I feel like the story and character development is strange and kind of flat. The grammar and spelling are pretty good. I wish there was more I could say about this story, I think there was a better opportunity for a better story arc.

Chapter 1: The Meeting
In the darkness, Sara sees a pair of headlights speeding at her as she swerves towards the next lane. She feels the slush take her and the little car across the line, right in front of the oncoming traffic. The last thing she says before she blanks out is, “Shit!”Twenty some years later she sits on her youngest daughter’s bed and thinks to herself, “I can’t do this again.” As she watches her little girl all grown up pack her things."Hey, make sure you have everything packed. I don't think you want to get all the way there just to find you forgot something you can't live without." Sara says absentmindedly while staring out the window as her youngest is preparing to move in with her friend a state away. By what she can tell, her daughter seems to be on top of everything. She even has a wonderful job set up, but she can’t help to not worry about her as she runs her fingers over the cotton folds of her dress repeatedly. If she had just secured a job for her here, she wouldn’t ha

Chapter 2: Coming Back To It
Two months later she finds herself wondering, “Now what?" As she says it under her breath and then sighs. She had already started picking up her violin again and drawing. People had begun to take notice when she posted a couple sketches on her social media account. From there, she found herself with a handful of commissions from wealthy patrons. As it turns out, people really like painted portraits of their dead pets and loved ones to keep close to them. Realizing that she had found a niche she filled well, she made several thousand dollars on just a few commissions. It didn't take long for her schedule to start getting booked up. After all, people like to talk, and word of mouth is the best way to drum up business. However, playing the violin had always been in the background. When she was younger, she had even won several awards nationally that gained her recognition in the musical world. The problem was that just as she was becoming well known, she had a bad car accident t

As she stares at his picture, she gets this eerie feeling that his eyes are piercing right into her soul. Chapter 4: Sara
Feeling his hand take mine, we leave together. When we get to my car, he leans close and kisses me again, but then quickly says, “I will follow you back to your house.” With so much promise in his voice. Even though I have this strange feeling that I am about to go down a path I will never be able to come back from, I smile and say, “Alright.” Because Sam doesn’t seem to be the type of man who would have a casual one-night stand with anyone. Like he said, “He loved his wife till the day she gave him his divorce papers.”I get the feeling if we enter a relationship, this time will be our last. And honestly, I don’t know if that is what I want or not, but those eyes. When I stare into them, I can’t say no. Not even once. Besides, why would I want to?After I get in and shut the door, he walks back to his old beat-up pickup truck. I only know this, because the whole way to his truck, I can’t keep my eyes off his body. It excites me in ways I never thought possible and when he h

Chapter 5: Lonely
Not hearing from him for several days, I begin to wonder if he even really liked me in the first place. I thought there was this amazing chemistry between us, but maybe it was just all in my head. After all, I haven’t had one text or phone call from him since he left. Shaking my head, I frown and then put my phone down after checking it one last time. I need to go to the store, and I had been putting it off, just in case he called. But as it looks right now, the only man I will be seeing is the cashier’s smiling face at the grocery store. After getting ready, I close the door and lock it. However, when I turn around and head to the car, I look up just to see Mr. Randal peeking out of his window curiously. “What is his problem?” I say under my breath, before giving him a glaring look and walking to the car. While I am unlocking it, I sense someone behind me and turn around. He is standing there staring at me with a big smile on his face. By far, he is not handsome in my book

Chapter 6: The Morning Of
“Hey, so I was thinking. Since you are coming away with me this weekend, would you mind terribly if we had to share the bedroom? I didn’t think about that till a bit ago, unfortunately. I had figured that since I had to call this morning to make sure we were still on for tonight, that I had better check before we get all the way up there. It’s a tiny cabin with only a bedroom, a small kitchenette/ living room, and a bathroom, so there isn’t room for anything else I’m afraid. But there is one thing it does have, a fireplace.” He says while sounding extremely excited.“Sure. I don’t have a problem with that at all.” The minute I say it, I feel like I am about to jump out of my skin with anticipation. That means I will be sleeping in his arms, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. All last night I dreamt about him as I tossed and turned. Now, I am so horny that every time something rubs against my clit, I ache, and it begins throbbing. It brings great comfort and exciteme

Chapter 7: The Cabin
Hearing the loud clang of the doorbell, I rush to the bathroom for finishing touches before I allow him to see me. I would love it if he opened the door and immediately thinks to himself, “I must be the luckiest man in the world to be with such a beautiful woman.” Then he proceeds to drop to his knees and ask me to marry him. However, we all know that is a fairy tale ending and those don’t really exist.Realizing that I am just being foolish, I glance in the bathroom mirror quickly. There is something wrong, but at first, I don’t notice what it is until I inspect my face closer. Trying to decipher if it’s the lighting or my skin tone, I decide to go with the latter. As I run the blush brush over my cheekbones, I inspect the splash of rose blush that I had just bought at the store yesterday from Estee Lauder. Now satisfied with myself, I smile and then hurry to the bedroom so I can do a once over in the full-length mirror. Admiring the way it all came together, I think to myself

Chapter 8: He's Amazing
“Baby, I can’t wait anymore. If I do, I may explode in my pants. After all, you have no idea what you do to me just by being in the same room.” He whispers in my ear while fumbling with the top buttons on my silk blouse. While I run my hands through his tangled hair, I feel his hands slip under my blouse. Smelling the scent of his skin, I take in a deep breath right before he pulls it over my head. As I do, I get a whiff of Cinnamon and Spice Cologne. It’s amazing, but it fuels my desire even more than I thought possible. Then the minute after he pulls the blouse off and throws it across the room, I moan as his lips travel all over the sensitive skin just above the fabric of my lace bra. When he reaches behind me to unclasp it, I get the sense that he nearly decides to just rip it off. Crying out from frustration, “Ughh.” He yells as I feel the clasp release and then it falls to the floor after I untangle my hands from his hair. He takes a breast in each hand. With one, he

Chapter 9: More Than Anything In This World
“Baby, come here for a minute. Will you?” He says while gesturing for me to get back on the bed.We have been making love for hours and right now I could use a nice cold bottle of water. However, he has other plans for me. Wondering if he will chase after me, I shake my head before turning around and walking to the kitchen. After all, if I am to keep this up, I need to hydrate first.Smiling, I am rewarded when Sam follows shortly after me. “Hey, I missed you.” He says with a smirk on that handsome face of his. “Don’t you know you should never leave a man unattended for more than two seconds if they have a hard on the size of Texas?”Glancing down, I giggle and then state, “It’s hardly the size of Texas.” In between laughing I continue, “I mean, don’t get me wrong you are big. Perhaps the size of Maine, but not Texas.” As I say it, I feel his fingertips run up and down my spine and it drives me wild.He hesitates for a minute to ponder what I just said with a hurt look on his f

Chapter 10: What's Next?
After kissing me softly on the lips, he walks to his car. As I watch him drive away, all I can think about is the sound of his voice when he says, “I love you.”“Oh, my goodness!” Destiny exclaims when I tell her about my weekend. She seems overjoyed to hear every juicy detail about how we never once left the cabin at any time. How we laid in each other’s arms on the bear skin rug in front of the roaring fire, and how it felt when he told me several times that he loved me. “It was amazing. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.” I say before my voice trails off, while thinking about how his body felt on top of mine.“He’s something alright.” She remarks and for some reason when she says it, it sounds more sarcastic than not.Hesitating, I start to wonder what she meant by it, so I ask, “What’s wrong?” Before I regret even saying anything.“Well, I don’t want you getting hurt. That’s all. A man like that instantly falling in love, all the signs point to something else. He is either
