Ashes of the Mate Bond
Jaroch, my mate, had a twin brother, Torma, who was the Gamma of the Shadow Grove Pack. Torma was born with exceptional combat abilities.
After Torma died, my mother-in-law, Neradia, feared losing influence in the pack. She forced Jaroch to assume Torma's identity and take over as Gamma.
To keep the lie from unraveling, she ordered Jaroch to sleep nightly with his widowed sister-in-law, Lezah, hoping they'd produce a pup.
I was furious and protested against it. Neradia slapped me hard across the face.
"As long as Lezah doesn't remarry, your husband will continue to be the Gamma. You'll enjoy endless wealth and glory too," she said.
I thought Jaroch would refuse, but he had no problem tossing morality aside and getting into bed with Lezah.
The worst part was that they flaunted their love right in front of me.
When Lezah got pregnant, I decided I'd had enough. I wanted to leave with my daughter, Sylvia Cardin.
Instead, Jaroch locked me in a room and went on a family vacation with everyone else but me.
That was when a pack of rogues broke into our home. They robbed us, set fire to the house, and were about to kill everyone.
I called Jaroch in a panic and begged for help, but he replied in an irritated voice, "Bityah, stop making a scene. Just behave!
"Lezah agreed to get along with you. You should learn from her and be more considerate.
"From now on, I'll spend Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with you. Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays are hers."
He then hung up.
The house burned to the ground, and I died in the fire.
He had already severed our mate bond. He didn't even sense that I was gone.
Only Sylvia cried out in the flames.
"Mommy! Mommy, please don't leave me!"

Heartbroken No More
Before our marking ceremony, my fiancé, Adrian Conner, insists on bringing his childhood sweetheart along on our trip—all because Flora Wooledge says she also wants to see the northern lights.
He switches my first-class ticket to Flora's name. He says, "I'll fly first class with Flora. You can take connecting flights by land. The doctor said it's not good for a pregnant woman to stay at high altitude for too long."
I don't cry or argue. Instead, I calmly push him toward Flora.
He snorts. "You've finally learned to behave. You're not as clingy and troublesome as before."
After he leaves, I quietly sign the abortion consent form at the hospital. Then, I book a ticket to the southern hemisphere.
In my past life, I begged and clung to him, hoping to keep him with our pup. But on that trip, Flora was attacked by rogue wolves and torn apart in the snow.
Adrian kept a calm facade. Yet on the night I was about to give birth, he dragged me back home and cut open my belly with his own hands. He stood there and listened as our pup's cries slowly faded away.
He poured all his hatred onto me. He believed I caused Flora's death and that I ruined his chance to become the Conner family's heir. To him, I was nothing more than a sacrificial pawn.
In this new life, when I step off the private jet, I see Adrian standing there with his eyes bloodshot. He stares at my belly and asks, "Where's the pup?"
Before I can answer, his half-brother wraps an arm around my waist. "Adrian, show some respect to your sister-in-law."

My Mate and Son Begged Me Back
On my eighth Mate-Marking anniversary, I had carefully prepared a special celebration ceremony. My Alpha mate, Derek, told me the pack had an emergency and the ceremony was canceled.
When I arrived at the venue, I was shocked to see the ceremony proceeding as planned. Scarlett, once my best friend, was walking hand-in-hand with Derek onto the ceremonial platform.
Her daughter and my son were being led by their hands, one child with each adult.
The four of them stood closely together while other pack members, unaware of the truth, praised them:
"The Alpha of Shadow Pack and his mate look so happy together."
I stood up in the crowd and applauded: "I didn't know Shadow Pack had replaced their Luna with an Omega. They make such a perfect couple."
The next moment, Scarlett's face turned pale as she collapsed on the platform.
I ignored the chaos and walked straight home.
The following day, Derek stormed back home and confronted me: "Scarlett's condition has barely improved. Why did you have to provoke her?"
My son pushed me and accused: "It's all your fault! You made little Emma cry!"
I pulled out the mate-bond dissolution agreement and threw it in their faces:
"Yes, it's my fault. So I'm stepping out. Now you four can be one happy family."
But my mate and son suddenly began to panic.

Betrayal at the Marking Ceremony
During the exchange of tokens in the Marking Ceremony, I presented the wolf tooth ring I had carved myself, as a witness to our marking.
But my Alpha mate, Frendo, remained completely indifferent, not releasing any marking aura, as though he had entirely forgotten that today was the day of our spiritual bonding ceremony.
At that moment, Lily updated her Instagram, saying she would be returning to the Sliver Lake Pack in an hour.
The air immediately filled with the restless scent of wolves, and before I could react, my Beta brother, George, stepped onto the ceremony stage and emotionlessly announced, "The Marking Ceremony is canceled."
Frendo and George, in perfect synchronization, turned and left the altar together,
leaving me standing alone, under the watchful eyes of all the Pack members. They wanted to see how a one-person marking ceremony would proceed.
It wasn’t until I held back my inner frustration and awkwardly finished the ceremony with some semblance of dignity that I opened Lily’s Instagram.
In her latest photo, George and Frendo were both surrounding her, releasing intimate signals. One was holding a silver moon festival gift box, while the other offered her a moonlight rose, her favorite.
I bitterly smiled and wiped away the tears from my eyes before calling the one family that truly mattered, my flesh and blood.
"Dad, Mom. I want to go home."

Alpha Chose Sister-in-Law, I Disappeared
My Alpha mate Derek secretly inherited his sister-in-law Sarah after his brother's death. On the surface, I was his Luna, but in reality, Sarah was the one who truly held his heart.
He praised me as the most exceptional Luna, tasking me with caring for all pack members, yet when Sarah tended to an injured male wolf, his jealousy flared so violently that he bit off the poor wolf's paw.
In public, he proclaimed me as his beloved Luna to the entire pack, while keeping Sarah hidden safely in the shadows.
When enemy wolves kidnapped me after discovering my identity, I desperately reached out through our mind link, begging for help.
His response cut deeper than any physical wound: "Olivia, Sarah is carrying my pup. We'll tell everyone it's my brother's son. I must protect her and the baby without leaving her side for even a moment."
"Just endure for a few days. Once Sarah's morning sickness improves, I'll lead all our warriors to rescue you."
In the days that followed, I sent countless pleas for help through our link, but received nothing in return. Eventually, our connection shattered completely.
For an entire year, those wolves imprisoned and tortured me. They broke my hind legs and ripped out my fangs, stripping me of my wolf's dignity. Derek never came for me.
When I finally escaped and stumbled back to our territory, blood-soaked and broken, I discovered my daughter locked in the silver prison where rogue wolves were kept.
She was being torn apart as food, her small body covered in wounds.
Meanwhile, my mate—my pup's father—was joyfully celebrating the first birthday of his and Sarah's pup, announcing that Sarah's child would become the pack's heir.
Tears streaming down my face, I gathered my skeletal little pup in my arms.
"It’s OK, sweetie. I'll find you a better dad."

My Alpha Mate and Son’s Regret
On my son's fifth birthday, my Alpha mate allowed his childhood sweetheart Sarah to pick him up from school.
I discovered through the tracking device on his watch that he was near the edge of the forest.
Having heard reports of rogue wolves attacking in the area recently, I anxiously rushed over, determined to bring him back immediately.
He refused to leave with me. While we were locked in this standoff, several rogue wolves burst from the treeline and attacked us.
During the fight, I was wounded badly, blood streaming down my face, while I kept my son safely behind me, completely unharmed.
But when my Alpha mate arrived to rescue us, he ran straight toward his childhood sweetheart who was hiding off to the side.
"Aunt Sarah is a delicate Omega with no fighting ability, Dad. Save her first! Mom, you're so strong, just hold on a little longer!" my son called out.
I watched them leave, a bitter smile forming on my lips.
They all seemed to ignore the silver dagger piercing my heart as I protected my son. I was dying.

Fate's Broken Bond
After I fainted from the pain, I learned the truth about my mate Kaelen’s position as Alpha of the Grayswood pack. He had inherited it from his older brother, who had died in battle. Not only did Kaelen take his brother's power, but he also inherited his brother's widow, the former Luna, Lydia.
I wanted to reject him and break free from our mate bond, but Kaelen wouldn’t let me.
He begged me with tears in his eyes and promised, "I have to bear a pup with Lydia to truly inherit the pack. Violetta, I swear that you're the only one I love. Once Lydia is with pup, you and I can finally be together openly!"
That year, Kaelen spent 54 nights in Lydia’s bed. At first, it was once a month, but soon it became nearly every two days. Finally, after the 54th night, the news came that Lydia was carrying his pup.
And that was when I finally gave up hope.
But when I faked my death and escaped with our pup, Kaelen went mad. He didn't care about the Alpha title he had just obtained. He searched the world over for us, desperate to find me and our pup.

Alpha Rising: From Outcast to Empire
The day my adopted sister Xina was diagnosed with a rare blood disease, I was captured by rival pack hunters and taken across pack territories.
In a hidden den beneath the mountains, I was chained like an omega during the day and subjected to endless humiliation. At night, they locked me in a moonless chamber and extracted my blood and bone marrow while I was conscious.
By the time my pack found me, my body was broken beyond recognition, covered in bite marks, and infected with numerous diseases that even our supernatural healing couldn't combat.
My mother, Alpha Serena, looked at me barely clinging to life, and howled so painfully she collapsed several times.
My brother Ivan even traveled beyond our ancestral lands to find healers who could treat me.
But in my half-conscious state, I accidentally overheard their conversation:
"Mother, we captured Lisa just to save Xina, and let her be violated by so many rogues. Now we're taking one of her kidneys too—isn't that going to kill her?"
Mother was silent for a long time, then choked up and said:
"For Xina, I had no choice."
"Besides, Lisa challenged Xina's rank all these years, made her severely depressed. This is just me atoning to Xina on her behalf."
"It doesn't matter if she's been tainted. From now on, we'll keep her in the packhouse and take care of her. That'll count as compensation."
As the silver blade sliced into my body, tears streamed uncontrollably from my eyes.
A den with four wolves... was simply too crowded.

Luna’s Revenge After Reborn
My mate Garrett inherited the Alpha position after his brother, the former Alpha of the Silver Claw Pack, was killed in the war against the Rogue wolves.
And along with it, he inherited his sister-in-law Sarah.
From that day forward, he gave me his love, but gave his resources and privileges to his sister-in-law.
He claimed she would face cruelty from pack members without the protection of an Alpha, so he took her to Moonhaven Sanctuary—the most secure settlement in the entire Northern Territory—while leaving me behind in the abandoned, low-ranking wastelands of our pack.
Every month, he wrote me five letters expressing his longing and affection, yet gave all hunting spoils and money to his sister-in-law.
When Rogue wolves invaded, my mate dispatched the pack's strongest forces to protect her and her two children, while my two pups didn't even wait for my return from the hunt.
They died cold and hungry, torn apart and devoured by Rogue wolves.
Later, I finally managed to wait for my mate Garrett's return.
He didn't shed a single tear for our children and told me he wanted to break our bond.
"Ember, Sarah can’t keep Luna position anymore so that she can't enjoy the privileges that come with it. My brother died protecting me, so I must protect his widow and her children. "
"Don't worry, once her children grow up safe and strong enough, I'll break the bond with her and re-establish our mate bond, because I only love you." He continued.
The backlash from the broken bond tortured me until I was barely alive, and I ended my own life.
When I opened my eyes again, I had returned to the day my pups were brutally killed.
This time, I didn't leave my children to go hunting. Instead, I took them with me to claim everything that rightfully belonged to us...

Alpha’s Regret After Choosing His Sister-in-Law
It had been five years since my mate Ethan Blackwood secretly marked me. Then his brother, the Alpha of the Shadow Moon Pack, died in the territorial war.
To become the next Alpha of Shadow Moon, Ethan inherited everything his deceased brother left behind.
Including his widowed sister-in-law, Victoria.
After every time Ethan shared Victoria's bed, he would hold me close and whisper reassurances:
"Autumn, just wait a little longer. Once Victoria gets pregnant, we'll have our Mating Ceremony!"
This was the pack's only requirement for him to inherit the Alpha position.
In the six months since returning to Shadow Moon territory, Ethan had gone to Victoria's chambers countless times.
From once a month in the beginning, to now almost every other day.
Finally, after countless nights of sitting alone until dawn, news came that Victoria was pregnant.
But along with this announcement came another—Ethan and Victoria would be holding their Mating Ceremony.
"Mommy, is someone having a Mating Ceremony here?" my daughter asked.
I looked around at the stark contrast to our sparse living quarters. The main hall was filled with flowers and balloons. People bustled about outside, everyone joyfully preparing for their Mating Ceremony. I pulled my innocent daughter into my arms:
"Yes, sweetheart. Your father is having a Mating Ceremony with someone he loves, which means it's time for us to leave."
Ethan didn't know that we wolves of the Silver Crescent Pack never cared about so-called Mating Ceremonies. In Silver Crescent, female wolves were revered. My mother was the current Alpha, and I only needed to bear an heir to the pack to inherit her position.
I dialed a number I hadn't called in five years:
"Mother, I already have an heir now. I'm ready to come home and claim your Alpha position."
