Viz Media's website is the source. I buy all my Shonen Jump titles directly from them. The files are high-quality PDFs or EPUBs, no DRM. You download them and own them. That's the key difference for me—actual ownership.
Other services like Kindle or ComiXology are essentially long-term rentals. If their license changes or they shut down, your access could be threatened. With Viz, I have the file on my hard drive forever. It's the most secure way to build a digital library.

Libraries! Seriously, check Hoopla. My mid-sized city library has the entire 'Smash' series available for borrow. You get it for 21 days, no waitlist if the digital copy is available. It's the ultimate 'try before you buy' and it's 100% legal and free.

I think the pacing is a bit too frantic. We bounce from location to location so fast that some of the new heroes don't get a chance to make an impression before they're in combat. It's effective for conveying the simultaneity of the attack, but it can feel shallow. The war arc obviously continues, and it does slow down to focus on key fights later. Volume 32 is the whirlwind opening.

I had a gift card for Google Play, so I bought it there. The reading experience in the Play Books app is... fine. It gets the job done. I wouldn't choose it over a dedicated comic app, but if you have credits, it's a good way to spend them. The file is always in your library, accessible from any device with the app.

The sheer convenience of the Shonen Jump app wins for me. All the volumes in one place, no managing files or different apps. Search for 'My Hero Academia', tap Vol 7, and start reading. It's that simple.
For someone who just wants to read and not fuss with sourcing files, it's unparalleled. And again, it's the right thing to do.

I've seen some sketchy ads on social media claiming to have the 'latest MHA chapter free!' and it's always a trap. They're either riddled with malware or just rehosting the Viz translation illegally. It's safer and smarter to go straight to the source.
Bookmark the official page. Save yourself the risk and the guilt. The official platform is so robust now that there's no legitimate excuse anymore, unless you live in a region where it's geo-blocked, which is a separate issue.

I’m waiting for this one myself. The Viz Media subscription is the most cost-effective route if you plan to read more than just this volume. For a couple bucks a month, you get access to a huge chunk of their catalog, including tons of back chapters. Volume 14 might be compiled from those earlier chapter releases.
If you prefer to own it, then digital storefronts are the way. I’d check BookWalker as well—they often have sales on manga and a decent points system. They’re a legitimate retailer specializing in digital manga and light novels.
Just a heads-up: avoid sketchy aggregator sites. Besides the ethical issues, their pages are so cluttered with invasive ads that it ruins the reading experience. The official apps are clean, support the artists, and often include translator notes and bonus content you won’t find on pirate sites.

Confirmed: 286–295. This is the volume where the series fully commits to being a tragedy for the pro heroes. Endeavor's entire quest to become the symbol of peace is publicly unmasked as a fraud built on abuse.
The chapters are meticulously crafted to maximize the feeling of dread and inevitability. Every panel of Dabi smiling feels like a nail in a coffin. It's brutal but incredibly effective storytelling. Not a feel-good read, but an important one.

Is there a particular reason you're looking for Vol 3 specifically online? Most brick-and-mortar stores like Barnes & Noble should have it on the shelf in the manga section, assuming it's not between print runs. I was just at my local B&N last weekend and saw the whole 'Team-Up Mission' series stocked. Sometimes it's faster to just go get it.
If you're remote or your area doesn't have a good bookstore, then yeah, online is the way. But if you have a store nearby, call them first—could save you the wait.

So I bought mine through ComiXology, and the process was incredibly smooth. That's an Amazon company, so it just linked to my Kindle library instantly. The quality was good for a digital copy, and the panel flow worked well on a tablet. If you want to own it digitally and keep it in that ecosystem, that's probably your best bet. I'm not sure if they do DRM-free copies though, so that might be a dealbreaker for some.
