Better to be straight forward Med! I gulped down the lump formed in my throat and spoke with my stern voice trying to be confident. "Yes, I'm scared of you, more than you can even imagine." All my confidence faded away within an instant as his soft chuckle replaced the silence. Jerking me forward into his arms he leaned forward to whisper into my ear. "I will kiss you, hug you and bang you so hard that you will only remember my name to sa-, moan. You will see me around a lot baby, get ready your therapy session to get rid off your fear starts now." He whispered in his deep husky voice and winked before leaving me alone dumbfounded. Is this how your death flirts with you to Fuck your life!? There's only one thing running through my mind. Lifting my head up in a swift motion and glaring at the sky, I yelled with all my strength. "FUC* YOU AUTHOR!" ~~~~~~~~~ What if you wished for transmigating into a Novel just for fun, and it turns out to be true. You transimigated but as a Villaness who died in the end. Reborn, Pregnant, and Plotting

Reborn, Pregnant, and Plotting

Vera fought for her life in the apocalypse for ten years. Ten brutal years left her disfigured, hungry, and almost broken, but she still clawed her way through it. She killed zombies, ran from mutated animals, starved, bled, and learned humans were often more dangerous than monsters. Then her brother, the only family she had left, betrayed her. Vera thought death had finally come. Instead, she woke up inside a trashy book she once read to stay sane while the old world fell apart. A book with a twisted plot and too much drama. And because her luck had always been terrible, Vera did not wake up as the heroine. No, of course not. Her second chance was to become the hated second female lead, pregnant, unwanted, and written to die when the plot no longer needed her. Her babies were supposed to die too. Even the three men who got her pregnant were written as future corpses, all to push the story toward spoiled women and one psychotic male lead. But Vera was not the woman from the book. She had survived one ruined world. She had not walked through radioactive rain and eaten mutated food just to cry over fantasy characters or beg for love inside a stupid plot. So Vera adapted. She accepted her punishment, took her three unborn babies, and left for the garbage center without making a scene. Everyone thought she had been thrown away. Vera saw a chance to make money, protect her babies, and build something of her own. Now the woman meant to disappear is building a wasteland empire, breaking the plot, and driving three men insane because she no longer chases anyone. By every rule in that world, Vera should be dead. But dying a second time was never an option.

What genres do novelists typically write in?

Back when I first started devouring novels, I was amazed by how diverse the genres could be. From the heart-wrenching depths of literary fiction to the adrenaline-pumping worlds of thrillers, novelists really do explore every corner of human imagination. I've spent nights lost in the intricate plots of mystery novels, where every clue feels like a puzzle piece, and afternoons swooning over romantic tales that make my heart skip a beat.

Fantasy and sci-fi writers create entire universes from scratch—think 'The Lord of the Rings' or 'Dune'—while historical fiction authors like Hilary Mantel transport us to another time. Even within genres, there's so much variety! Slice-of-life stories can feel just as gripping as epic adventures if the characters resonate. Honestly, the range is endless, and that's what keeps me coming back for more.

What genres are included in novels that you must read?

I believe certain genres are essential for a well-rounded reading experience. Literary fiction is a must—books like 'To Kill a Mockingbird' and 'The Great Gatsby' offer deep societal insights and timeless prose. Fantasy, like 'The Lord of the Rings' and 'The Name of the Wind,' transports you to breathtaking worlds filled with magic and adventure. Science fiction, such as 'Dune' and 'Neuromancer,' challenges your imagination with futuristic concepts and philosophical dilemmas.

Historical fiction, like 'Wolf Hall' and 'All the Light We Cannot See,' brings the past to life with vivid detail. Mystery and thriller novels, from Agatha Christie’s works to 'Gone Girl,' keep you on the edge of your seat. Romance, whether it’s 'Pride and Prejudice' or 'The Hating Game,' explores the complexities of love. Lastly, dystopian novels like '1984' and 'The Handmaid’s Tale' serve as cautionary tales about society’s potential futures. Each genre enriches your perspective in unique ways.

What does genre mean in novels and storytelling?

I get a little excited when the topic of genre comes up because to me it’s like picking the flavor of a story—you immediately know whether you want something rich and comforting or sharp and spicy.

Genre is basically a set of expectations and tools: it tells you whether a novel will lean on romance, mystery, science fiction ideas, epic worldbuilding, or some blend. Those expectations shape pacing, character roles, themes, and even sentence choices. For example, 'Pride and Prejudice' signals social observation and witty dialogue, whereas 'Dune' prepares you for complex worldbuilding and political scheming.

But genre isn’t a prison. Authors borrow and mash things up all the time. A detective story can be tender and queer, a sci-fi can read like a ghost tale, and a fantasy can be intimate and literary. I love spotting those mashups because they surprise my expectations and remind me that genre is a guide, not a rulebook. It helps me find books I’ll enjoy and also appreciate when writers break the mold—keeps reading fun and unpredictable for me.

Whats a novel genre that is trending right now?

Lately, I've noticed a huge surge in popularity for 'cozy fantasy'—think low-stakes, heartwarming stories with magical elements but without the usual epic battles or world-ending threats. Books like 'Legends & Lattes' by Travis Baldree totally nailed this vibe, blending fantasy tropes with slice-of-life comfort. It’s perfect for readers who want escapism without the emotional weight of traditional high fantasy.

What’s fascinating is how this genre taps into the current cultural craving for comfort. After years of gritty, morally complex narratives, there’s something refreshing about stories where the biggest conflict might be running out of cinnamon for a spellbook recipe. Even indie authors are jumping on this trend, self-publishing charming tales about witchy bakeries or librarians organizing dragon-hoard catalogs. It feels like a literary hug.
