Shameless Game

When my mother first told me about the arranged marriage, Noah Parker lowered his head and kissed me, pulling me closer as we became tangled together. After a haze of passion, he carried me into the bathroom. Warm water streamed over my skin, but his words sent a chill straight through me, as if I'd fallen into an icy pit. "Go home. And don't come looking for me here again." I thought he'd seen the text and was jealous, so I quickly clung to him and swore, "I won't marry anyone else—" His smile stayed, but the heat in his eyes cooled into something distant. "But I'm getting married." He brushed back my messy hair, ignoring how my body trembled under his touch. "My fiancée is gentle and kind—nothing like you. She’d never throw herself at her foster brother like that. We've already set a date. If you keep clinging to me like this, she'll be upset with me."

On Christmas Eve, my uncle, Adam Stewart, took a sip of the expensive wine I bought and pointed at me, laughing. "A child’s nature really shows early. When she was little, she wet the bed. There were still six hours before the ice apocalypse arrived and the global zombie crisis broke out. In my previous life, Uncle Adam, who always looked down on us, pushed my entire family into the zombie horde to seize my parents' supermarket. This time, I would not let him get away with it. I had just grabbed the plate, ready to smash it over Uncle Adam's head, when a crisp notification rang in my mind. "Ding! Rage Points System has been bound. The host can obtain resources by retaliating. The more shameless you are, the stronger you become!" Looking at Uncle Adam's smug face, I laughed. "Yeah, I don't know anything, but I just recalled something. Uncle Adam, you were arrested by the anti-prostitution squad when you went to Los Anglos on a business trip eight years ago, weren't you? Does Aunt Leanne know about this?"

"What's your problem?" Morgana asked, frustrated. "You don't get it. You're like the most beautiful woman I've ever seen and I seriously can't let you go. I mean it." Drake replied, his eyes scanning everything that would be his to explore after she says 'YES'. "You're being creepy, you know. Want us to get violent? Cuz I'm all for it." She wasn't loosing her cool now. Drake just chuckled at that. "You know there's a way to solve this." He said. She rolled her eyes, but he took it as a clue to move on. "Let me kiss you." "What!" "I'm serious. If you surrender yourself to me for five minutes and you don't feel like you want more of me, I will get off your back." He said, faking a serious expression. "You're crazy." "You're curious." "Shut up!" "Try it. The best way to get rid of me. Cool deal." He coarsed. After a few minutes of contemplating, she finally agreed, folding her arms across her chest and closing her eyes. How cute, he thought staring at her. "If you disturb me after this, then you're dead." She said, wondering why he hasn't gotten the clue that she's ready. ........... One minute..... Two...... Three....... Four..... five..... "Why did you stop?" Eyes misty and breath ragged, Morgana's gaze continued to hold his own. His smirk made her realized what had just transpired. Damn it! "Baby, five minutes are over. It's up to you now. Should I continue?" He asked, his hands still playing a few magic to keep her in mood. "There are so many stuff we would explore together. Believe me baby, you're gonna enjoy them." He added, seeing how she was about to get herself together. "You asshole!" She cursed. "What did I do?" "Go on." "Hmm?" "Kiss me." She glared at him, but reached for his lips this time. The damn CEO is a good kisser and this cat couldn't resist the temptation.

"And so just you may know, I will never love, not in this life or the next, and I will do everything to make your life a living hell for what you did," Kevin smirked leaving Bella with tear running down her eyes. It's not like she really wanted to fall in love with him, or maybe it's true that love is blind, who in their rightful senses falls in love with their bully, anyway it's not her fault, it's his, he made her fall in love with him but only to reject her later.

Ryan straightened his tie with practiced charm, shooting me a smug, taunting look. But when I glanced at the label on the gift box, I couldn't help but laugh. If the Chairman of Harrington Group knew someone was mistaking it for an engagement gift for his daughter, he'd be furious enough to lose sleep.
