He smiled when his obsidian met Selene's emerald bead, then stopped all the treatment process that he wanted to do before finally opening his voice. "Kristoff," said the doctor. "Kristoff Chappelle." The Doctor introduced himself —extending his right hand that was no longer wrapped in a latex gloves like the other part. Instead of shaking the Doctor's helping hand, Selene chose to catch the big hand —grasping it tightly, while looking at him sadly. "Help me get out of this place. I’m begging you."

He looked at the rest of the lads, "All of you. You all brought back that light inside of her and I'm very thankful." "Aw shucks, it was nothin'!" Zack exclaimed which made us all laugh. Something we definitely needed at that moment. But the moment was short. "Mr Secter?" My eyes travelled to where I was called. Everyone silenced as I got up and faced the Doctor. "How is she?" I asked impatiently, scared. The doctor looked at me for a couple of seconds before sighing. He was going to carry on and say something when Xavier came up from behind him, putting a hand on his shoulder which made the doctor look back at him in silence.

Lesly asked out of curiosity. "It's nothing I'm just used to it," he said while giving Lesly some sliced apple. Lesly never asks again the thing is he loves Ranz more than anything else. On the other hand, Waylan keeps researching if there's a vampire who doesn't have the ability to cure their wounds. She remembers the day when Zeal got hit by a bomb and he can't cure his wounds. He's wondering why? She keeps wondering too if the person she saw in the bookstore is lying or not.

I held my breath, the golden light in my eyes flickering. Then, Elle let out a loud, healthy cry. Her skin turned pink again. Her eyes opened, and she looked at me. She reached out her tiny hand and touched my face. "She’s okay," I sobbed. The gold light faded from my eyes, and I felt a wave of exhaustion hit me. "We have to go, Hazel," Jane said, starting the boat’s engine. "The Doctor... he’s getting up." I looked back at the yacht. The Doctor was standing in the broken glass. His chest was caved in, but he was laughing. He held a remote in his hand.

"What we just saw is classified medical information about Miss Hart's condition. Anyone who speaks about this outside this room will be terminated immediately. Are we clear?" Everyone nodded, too shocked to argue. "Mary, with me. Now." Dr. Stevens grabbed my arm and pulled me from the emergency room into a private office. He closed the door and turned to face me. "What are you?" "I'm just an intern." "Don't lie to me. I've been a doctor for thirty years. I've seen a lot of things. But I've never seen anyone heal wounds with glowing hands through touch alone. That's not normal wolf healing. That's something else entirely."

Soon after, the Doctor came out with a stressed and depressed look on his face, he was not surprised when he saw the brothers. "Doctor, how is our Dad doing?" Lucas was the one that asked first and the Doctor sighed. "The Lord was injected with a wolfsbane because we found it in his blood, he was stabbed in three different places and the last one was in the heart. We tried all we could, but it's not working, the wolfsbane stopped us from working and even if we did anything, the wound in his heart can never heal and before they brought him here, he had already died, I am sorry Four Lords for our incompetency." With that said, the Doctor bowed and walked away.

I stared at Lilian one more time before putting the car in reverse and speeding out of the manor. "Dr. Taylor..." I nodded at the elderly doctor whose office was crowded by us. "We need your help." I carried Lilian forward and placed her on the table. Dr. Taylor's expression was passive as she gave Lilian a once-over before standing up from her seat. Dr. Taylor was a supernatural doctor that worked in the human world. I had saved her life quite a few times and she swore her undying loyalty to me. I knew I could trust her with Lilian's life... more than I could even trust myself.

She then stood up and walked into the Doctor's office. Jonas wants to go in too, but again Christian blocks him. "You stay outside," Christian says. There was nothing Jonas could do but give in. He stays outside the room while Christian closes the door. "I hope everything you've been worrying about is over after this. It would help if you focused on your life, Christian," Jonas muttered. Inside the Doctor's office, Christian shows Natasha to the Doctor. Doctor Nick Brown. "This women, Doctor. She's the one who always makes my heart beat faster. I'm not lying. If you don't believe it, you can check it out," Christian says.

The silver hand on the clock in my mind didn't just stop; it dissolved. The Eleventh Cycle was truly dead. The Twelfth was judging. And the Thirteenth was waiting in the dark.

Taking in his almost unnaturally large physique, I wondered if he was also a patient in the doctor’s experiments. “Glad you made it, Doctor,” Malachi said to me, his face unmoving but friendly. “This must be your Beta.” “Not much more than a side pup, looks to me,” the larger man said. I felt Wyatt bristle beside me, though on the outside he only narrowed his gaze.
