This is a story about an orphaned and adopted teenage girl aged 16 year old. She's smart, and talented, a devoted Christian. Her life revolves around town, born and raised in the heart of the city,studied in the heart of the city all her life. She gets to be under depression, uneasy one that she tries by all possible means to find what makes her happy, and she did. Unfortunately mistreatment in the family made her seem desperate because she never ever wanted to to stay at home. So that led her to be available for anyone and everyone that she made a huge mistake with one of the guys. That's when her life changed drastically. It's sad how one emotional humans stunt can turn one's life into something that's never ever been imagined. It can turn one into a dangerous psycho, or a dangerous murder.

When I was four months pregnant, my fiance, who was a doctor, left me hanging when we were supposed to get married. This was not the first time; this was the sixteenth time. The first time, his nurse fainted at the sight of blood during an operation, and I waited for him for an entire day at the city hall. The second time, his nurse called, and he left me behind on a viaduct to buy daily necessities for her. Whenever we were about to get married, his nurse would call him for all sorts of problems. The final time was when he told me he was sick. Despite the rain, I rushed to the hospital, only to find that it was his nurse who was sick. He stayed by her side to care for her while he lied to me without batting an eye. At that moment, I began to hate him. I aborted our baby and left. But he chased after me and even traveled out of the country just to apologize.

At first, akala ni Callen Moore, natutuwa lang siya sa dalagang si Asia Jade Del Franco dahil sa lantarang pagpapahiwatig nang nararamdaman nito sa kaibigang si Astin. Hindi pala. At kung kailan naman nakukuha na ni Callen ang atensyon ni Asia, saka naman na nagpakita si Ismael sa kanya. Tunay nga ang bali-balitang isa itong adonis. Kaya binalewala niya nang tuluyan ang umuusbong na pagkagusto kay Callen. Pero hindi akalain ni Asia na may tinatagong lihim si Ismael. Ano kaya ang gagawin niya oras na matuklasan iyon? Mabibigo na naman ba siya sa pag-ibig?

Kinupkop siya nito at pinatira sa palasyong tinitirhan nito. Hindi pwedeng malaman ng magulang niya ang nangyari sa kanya, dahil baka pababalikin siya ng mga ito sa Pilipinas. Kaya inilihim nila ni DK ang lahat. Pero hindi akalain ni Everlee na may mabubuong pagmamahalan sa kanila ni DK habang nasa poder siya nito. Akala niya dahil sa utang na loob lang kaya siya pumayag na maging Duchess ng Bedford. No. Mahal na pala niya si DK. Ngunit isang aksidente ang pumutol sa pagmamahalang iyon. Hindi siya maalala ni DK na pinakasalan siya nito. Dahil sa respeto nito umano sa magulang at kapatid niya, dinivorce siya nito bago pa malaman ng pamilya niya. Kaya nang muli silang magkita sa Pilipinas, tanging sambit lang ni Everlee sa sarili sa tuwing nakikita si DK, she once married that Duke…
