Damascus had pulled his own hand to his chest and rubbed the spot lightly. He wasn’t sure why, but the feeling was more than just a case of static electricity. Damascus looked at Amara and wondered if there was something more to his wingless angel that met the naked eye.

I couldn’t stand I fell on the ground and I was completely off. I dreamed and I was on a different planet and a host of beings had surrounded me. Most of them were angels and archangels. Some of the Angels have about 6 wings, some of the angels have four big wings and some have two wings. Two of the Angels with six wings held my hand.

I drift my eyes to where I last saw Tee, Angel is there, she's talking to her friend who is dressed as Chucky. Angel is dressed as an Angel, I know, very cliche but at least it's a dark angel, it's black wings are not too spreaded and thank luck because she'd be hitting people with them. She wears a short white prom dress to compliment her wings, I hate to admit it but it's sexy and definitely not a try hard costume.

I grinned into the hollow of his defined Apollo belt, swiping a thumb over his slit. "Well…you're welcome." I took a moment to look up at him through my lashes and gasped at the sight. They were a stormy type of speckled warm gray-brown like the wings of a Lanner falcon, the white underside shimmering with some type of light.

"If you're an angel, then why are your wings black?" He didn't answer but just limited himself to looking at me, debating whether to tell me something or not. But maybe his wings were black because he was an angel of darkness, right? There is no other explanation. Good angels usually have white wings and are beings of light. But he has black wings. Just the quiet elegance of black marble, burgundy furniture and gold. My heels echoed through the enormous room.

prologue It was peaceful and wonderful in Angel’s empire, trumpets were singing, clouds were dancing and angels were peacefully resting but a sudden appearance of Kram, stopped their calm and peaceful empire. Kram, was the Archangel, highest above all angels. His wings were like billion of stars when it shines, too stunning that you couldn’t turn your eyes away, it was heavenliness that could warm one’s heart in just one glance.

After brother Luci ignited a rebel and was banished from heaven, the greater one only, enjoy the full affection of the supreme one. Another area was for we the angels to sit, it was made up of golden chairs and another part was where the glorious singers are, this aspect consist of beautiful ladies with feathers too who use their voice in glorifying the supreme one,they always classify themselves as angel but i don’t count them as one of us, this faction was formed when brother Luci was banished. And the last segment, well I don’t know what it’s for, because nobody stays there, only the supreme one knows what he plans to do with it.

They are all black with white tips. Alex says that’s how they know that my mother, whoever she was, was an Angel. My demon side is shown through the color change in my eyes. Angels have white/silver eyes, and Demons have neon green eyes and fangs. My eyes are neon green, and I have fangs. Angels don’t develop tattoos as wings. They have wings from the moment they are born. Demons develop tattoos that turn into wings. However, their wings are leathery and clawed; instead of feathered. That’s how they know that I’m a hybrid.

Max and Kendra were quick to defend Alina, always coming to her rescue but I had a feeling she didn't really need it. Every female angel had to wear something similar to that to accommodate their wings because they obviously couldn't fly half-naked. Her wings were slightly bigger than her, the ends touching the ground.
