Behind her, floating in flames flew in another girl. The stood together, side by side. One with gigantic dark wings and claws; the other with red and yellow shades of flame dancing in her eyes. With a dull boom, dazzling fireworks exploded across the night sky, shattering into millions of starlights before slowly falling away. The shifting light painted Victor’s profile in flickers of brightness and shadow, like something out of a dream. He wrapped his arms around me from behind, resting his chin on my shoulder as he murmured, “Do you like it? I prepared this just for you.” I stared at the brilliant yet fleeting display, and an uncontrollable sadness hit me. This grand beauty felt just like the time I had with Victor; it was gorgeous but destined to disappear.

Lucifer attacked them, again and again, until their bodies were filled with blood and they could barely stand. All of a sudden, the air was electric, as the sky grew dark and foreboding. Suddenly, a brilliant light illuminated the horizon, and a figure began to take shape. The light intensified, and the figure grew more defined, until finally, an Angel stood before us. The Angel's wingspan was immense, with feathers that shimmered like diamonds in the sunlight. Its body was tall and imposing, with skin that glowed like polished marble. The Angel's face was chiselled and strong, with eyes that burned like stars.
